Johnson's No More Diaper Rash Diaper Cream Is At The Bottom Of My List

Aveeno Baby Diaper Rash Cream
Burt's Bees Baby Bee, Diaper Ointment with Vitamin A and Vitamin E
Common Sense Baby Cream
Desitin Zinc Oxide Diaper Rash Ointment Creamy
Earth's Best Organic Diaper Relief Ointment
Johnson's No More Diaper Rash

One of the diaper creams that I used on him was the Johnson's No More Diaper Rash.
Like a few of the other diaper creams that I have used on my baby's diaper rash, the package of Johnson's No More Diaper Rash came in the diaper bag that the hospital gave me after my son was born. I found the packaging to look promising and eventually tried out Johnson's No More Diaper Rash one day when my son had diaper rash.
So many of the other diapers creams that I had used it had a standard warning, and Johnson's No More Diaper Rash was no different. I examined the ingredients, to see what this 3 in 1 formula, that Johnson's No More Diaper Rash states that they have, was made of.
Johnson's No More Diaper Rash Ingredients
Zinc oxide 13%, water, mineral oil, dimethicone, glycerin, lanolin, petrolatum, sorbitan isostearate, panthenol, avena sativa (oat) kernel flour, microcrystalline wax, synthetic beeswax, tocopheryl acetate, sodium lactate, magnesium sulfate, lactic acid, DMDM hydantoin, iodopropynyl butylcarbamate
Honestly I was disappointed to see that Johnson's No More Diaper Rash had mineral oil, glycerin and petrolatum. As far as how well the diaper rash works I was disappointed there too. After trying Johnson's No More Diaper Rash on my baby I knew it wasn't as good as quite a few of the other diaper creams that I have used. I found it to remain on my son's skin and maybe this was soothing but it wasn't working to well to heal up the existing diaper rash, plus I thought it was a little odd that the diaper cream was so resistant to disappear.
My overall rating for Johnson's No More Diaper Rash out of 4 stars would be:
Rating * * 1/2
The big question on everyone's mind is would I buy it again. It would be my fifth choice, tied with two other diaper creams that I have tried on my baby.
So it is established that Johnson's No More Diaper Rash isn't the best diaper cream that I have used, review the series to find out which one isand which diaper creams are definite ones to avoid. Simply click on the author's name to see the other diaper cream reviews.

Post a CommentI have taken the time to read many of the comments both good and bad regarding diaper rash creams. I am in the process of developing a diaper rash cream I think will replace most of the products discussed. I should have the cream available in a couple months. I really feel that it will solve many of the satisfaction issues I have read on the various comment sites. The product will be a patented product that offers triple protection for diaper dermatitis. The product is a formula that is based on reasearch and a common sense approach. I have kids and also suffered through the same issues I read regarding the available products. I look forward to the opportunity to provide a safe and effective product very soon.%0D%0A%0D%0AThanks%0D%0A%0D%0ACharles Love
My husband and I are active users of the Boudreaux's Butt Paste. I have tried the Johnson's and Desitin and neither of them worked nearly as good as Boudreaux's. You should definitely give it a try.
Have you tried Boudreaux's Butt Paste, it seems to be all the rage right now:

Oh just looked, sorry, they are out of stock, again!
Totally agree, there are better products for diaper rash out there

I drove myself nuts trying different products. Great article
Boy oh boy, you're a veritable connoisseur when it comes to diaper rash creams! :-) My personal favorite is Weleda's Calendula cream. I found that if it's put on after all diaper changes a rash won't ever occur. The other plus side is that the product is completely natural.
That's very interesting. Great article.
great article and I agree
