Sacramento 2010 Oktoberfest
Neighborhood: Sacramento Area
Sacramento, CA 95816
United States of America
Octoberfest is not generally an American Holiday, however there are many cities, states, and even countries that take part every year. Oktoberfest traditionally last for two weeks starting the first weekend in October.

Oktoberfest all began with the marriage of Crown Prince, Ludwig and Princess Therese of Saxe Hildburghausen. It was a very organized horse race, that continued after its renewal in 1811. Somehow these days it's all about the beer.

This year in Sacramento, California there will be so many places where you can join int he fun of these festivities. I can't promise any great horse races, but there will be fun, food, and activities for all ages. Some are free, and others are fairly inexpensive.
