Jolly Rancher Soda - A New Favorite

Jamilah Renae
I was walking through the grocery store the other night trying very hard not to shop till I drop when I saw that Jolly Rancher is now in soda form. I'm telling you I was like a little kid in that store. I was so excited that I didn't even notice the price. But right now as I think more about it I still would've bought the case no matter how much it cost. I love the hard candy and they now have me for life with the soda. The first one I tried was Green Apple. It wasn't cold but ooh wee it was so good. In my sweet opinion they taste better room temp but to each his or her own. I like them best at room temp because to me they taste just like the hard candy. One of my friends told me that if you put a couple of the candies in a cup of cold water it's just about the same. That's just how much they taste like the candy. At this particular store they come in four flavors in a case of 24 and each bottle is 20 oz but I really thought it was totally worth the money spent. Took me back to my days of being a kid and I don't know how long they've been in stores but I'm glad I found a new favorite.

As I mentioned before there are four different flavors in the case but anyone that has ate the candy before knows they have a variety of flavors and all if not most of them are good. In the case I have there's Green Apple, Watermelon, Grape and Blue Raspberry. I have to say that Green Apple taste the best but they're all good in general. I would like to see more flavors in the future. They sure knew what they were doing with this one. After letting my children taste them they felt that this kind of soda was more tailored for them then the other leading brands and I somewhat agree. I don't allow them to have soda much but that could change. Now there's no real fruit juice in the beverage but there's also no caffeine and if you're counting calories there's only 280 in each bottle so if you like it I love it. It's far from being healthy but a cool treat to have. I like the colors, the flavors but they should really lower the price.

I can't agree more. I love the Watermelon the best, found some 1 liter Cherry (which I'd never seen before) & Green Apple in our Kmart, bought it all & sadly they told me it was discontinued. I'm still trying to locate some of the Cherry Cinnamon Fire I've heard of but have yet to see. Can anyone help me find it please ???

    Thanks! :)
Have a better than great week! :)

I have had the Green Apple Jolly Rancher drink and my question is why aren't these drinks in stores everywhere, it would go over wonderful. Especially with the kids.
