Jon Gosselin Empties Joint Bank Account

Two Sources Are Confirming that Jon Gosselin Has Emptied Bank Account He Shares with Kate Gosselin

Jon Gosselin has apparently emptied the joint bank account with Kate Gosselin. That Jon Gosselin emptied the joint bank account is being confirmed by both Radar Online as well as People Magazine, and it's become just the latest chapter in this drama-filled marriage. It's just starting to seem unbelievable that each day there is new drama between Jon Gosselin and wife Kate Gosselin, and the constant back and forth has now boiled down to money. It looks like Jon Gosselin is making some sort of statement here with these actions, but it also doesn't seem like something that any court is going to be very supportive of in the end.

Jon Gosselin recently went on Larry King Live to talk about trying to fix his marriage again, and to try and put the brakes on his divorce. Now it seems like that was just a smoke screen, as Jon Gosselin turned around and pulled hundreds of thousands of dollars out of their joint account. He reportedly left behind $1,000 in the account, which makes it seem even more like this is a statement that Jon Gosselin is trying to make. This may put this relationship between Jon Gosselin and Kate Gosselin out of the dramatic stage, and turn it into a complete scandal in the end. The Jon and Kate Gosselin divorce is not very pretty, and with every turn it seems like one of them is trying to make another underhanded move.

Radar Online also reported that Kate Gosselin has retained a "high-powered lawyer" who has already sent a letter to Jon Gosselin demanding that the money be returned. It leads one to wonder exactly what would motivate Jon Gosselin to take an action such as this, knowing full well that he couldn't get away with it in the end. Did he possibly thing that Kate Gosselin was mis-spending some of the money? Is he that upset about being fired from Jon and Kate Plus 8 that he felt the need to act out? And what bank was it that didn't know who Jon Gosselin was, and would actually let him take out all of this money in the middle of divorce proceedings?

Jon Gosselin could be in a lot of trouble if this ends up going to the courts, because this isn't something that would be acceptable in a court of law. In a divorce proceeding, this is almost the equivalent of stealing, and the problems that could be associated with bills and direct payments from that account could simply compound the problem. When a lot of people use direct payment, having no money in an account can run the risk of over-charges, late fees, and even accounts being closed. In a family with eight kids, this is just simply unacceptable, and its behavior that is going to lead more people to support Kate Gosselin in this messy situation.

I think it's hilarious when people comment here as if they're talking to Jon or Kate. Are they all nuts or what? Attention: Jon and Kate are not likely to read these comments! LOL This is old news now, but who knows if any of it was true to begin with.

Hey Kate stop complaining and get a real job like everyone else to pay your bills and not relying on your children. Who cares what they do anyway it is all staged this show should have been cancelled a long time ago like "Living up to the Kardasians", who cares what these bimbos do.

Ah who cares. Once the divorce lawyers get started he'll have to split it up anyway. Just because he has it in his possession won't make it "his". Now if he spends it all, that would be great. Maybe get 8 college funds set up under his kids names that only they can touch it when they turn 18 :-D

Hey, look. This tactic is not uncommon in nasty divorces. Perhaps he did this on the advice of his attorney - you just don't know. These things are usually divvied by up way of a marital settlement agreement (if they can agree - much cheaper) or it gets litigated out (costing both parties more in the long run.) That was the joint account, who is to say Kate doesn't have money stashed away that is unaccounted for? We just don't know and is it any of our business? Banks don't care who you are - if your name is on the account and the account isn't frozen or otherwise denoted, then you can take money out. Is it a sleazeball thing to do? Probably. It sure won't get him a father of the year award from the press.

    He's actually getting dangerous.

    maybe he needed the money.

I think that this family needs to stop being in the spot light. Seems the more the tabloids write about them the more they each to to one another. Someone should step in and stop it all for the childrens' sake.

this bozo is not just a dirt bag but sick

I knew this jerk has mental problems, but he has completely lost it. No wonder Kate had to control him. His greed is obviously more important than the children. It is all about money to him. He is a sicko. He can't take responsibility of the kids for a few days without bringing in local pub trash for sex while his children are sleeping in the home and put her on the payroll as a babysitter..then laughs in Kate's face for her concern for the children. I hope the courts do take control of this situation before he does more harm. Since Kate no longer has the responsiblity of this mental disabled man, the courts need to do so.

I knew the man was mentally challenged, but he is also mentally unstable. I hope the courts protect the children and Kate from this thing. His anger is scary.
