Why Would Jon Gosselin Fire His Attorney?
Why Jon would fire his attorney (with Jon you never seem to know what is or isn't true) is something I can't answer. According to a recent tweet by Jon, it is reported that he stated, "He, Kate and her attorneys are moving on to work out things privately and amicably". He goes on to state that Mr. Anthony List. Sr. Esq., who just recently referred to Kate as an "absentee parent" is no longer his representing attorney. In fact, according to Jon Gosselin, he terminated List's services April 15, 2010.
Is He or Isn't He Suing Kate for Custody?
News broke a few weeks ago that Jon Gosselin had filed a lawsuit against Kate Gosselin suing her for custody of their eight young children. It seems very likely that a custody lawsuit was in fact filed by Jon against Kate. Whether that lawsuit was part of some elaborate plan to increase the gossip surrounding Kate and up ratings for Dancing with the Stars, it is difficult to say. One would hate to think that something like that could occur, but it is certainly not beyond the realm of possibility.
It does appear according to Jon's most recent statement that he potentially has second thoughts about his custody suit against Kate. It was just a short time ago, that he referred to ex-wife, Kate as a "shameless, self-promoter". Perhaps now that Kate has been booted from her role in ABC's popular Dancing with the Stars, Jon may see no further need for a custody lawsuit. With Jon Gosselin's history of erratic and downright stupid behavior, it is difficult to know what is next.
Tomorrow is another day, and with America's most famous reality TV family the gossip, surrounding them seems to change every minute.
