Jon & Kate Plus 8: The Cad's Out of the Bag - Jon Gosselin's 3 Month Affair

According to this week's edition of US Weekly, sources close to Deanna Hummel, 23, a third grade teacher, identified her as the woman who has allegedly engaged in a 3 month affair with Jon Gosselin. Jon Gosselin is the dad on the enormously successful reality show "Jon & Kate Plus 8". Up to now there has not been any definitive proof of Jon Gosselin's dalliances.

Several stories and some grainy photos have popped up on the internet but Gosselin has continued to deny anything amiss in his relationship with Kate Gosselin.

According to Deanna Hummel's roommate, who also happens to be her brother, Jason, his sister is not a homewrecker but a nice girl. Jason is not as nice in his characterization of Jon Gosselin. Jason claims, in the US Weekly article, that Gosselin is a "bad liar". He also shares more about his feelings on the alleged coupling. "This isn't healthy for her. But she is refusing to help herself, so here I am trying to help her myself. I hope this clears the air."

Jason alleges that Jon met Deanna in mid-January, at a lounge in Reading, Pennsylvania and after that first meeting, he began to pursue her "relentlessly". Jason indicated that Jon has visited he and Deanna's home in Reading on numerous occasions. While just visiting the Hummel home is no indication of nefarious doings, Jason added that the couple, "pretty much stay locked away like two teenagers."

Per US Weekly, Deanna Hummel is identified as the woman who was photographed leaving the Legends Lounge with Jon Gosselin. It is also alleged that only seven days after he and Hummel were photographed leaving Legends Lounge, he had she and Jason over to the new 1.3 million dollar home he and Kate just moved into, for a day of sunbathing on the front lawn. Kate Gosselin was still away promoting her newest book Eight Little Faces.

Jason Hummel spares no detail when describing his sister's alleged relationship with Gosselin. He says the couple was quite vigorous in their more amorous pursuits. " The walls are thin. Let's just say that. I mean, no one wants to hear his sister having sex, let alone with a married dude who's, like, almost twice her age and who has eight kids and a maybe-crazy wife. Ick. Nast."

Hummel is referencing the fact that Jon Gosselin is the father of eight children - septuplets 5 and 8 year old twins - who along with he and his wife Kate Gosselin are the subject of the hit reality show "Jon & Kate Plus 8".

There are a contingent of fans who feel that based on the way Kate treats Jon, that he would be more than justified in stepping out. A responder to an earlier article on this topic distilled it down to "she's always at him".

The whiff of marital unrest has dogged Jon and Kate Gosselin for the past year or so. The hope is that for the sake of their children, they can overcome their problems and reconnect.
