Jon & Kate Plus 8 in Trouble? Plus Monkees Singer Has Rare Cancer and M.I.A.'s Strange Baby Name

Things have been a little rough in Hollywood these days. Rumors are flying around as they always do, but these ones are whispering that the famed parents of two sets of multiples, Jon and Kate Gosselin, have hit a sour point. Peter Tork of the 1960s band, The Monkees, announced that he has a very rare form of cancer. M.I.A. has finally released the name of her baby and I'm not sure everyone was counting on it being as odd as it is.

Jon & Kate Plus 8 In Trouble?

That's what gossip mags In Touch Weekly and Star Magazine would have you believe. According to In Touch Weekly, Jon Grosselin has reportedly been spending a great deal of time away from home, partying with college girls and generally ignoring his other half.

The magazine stated that Jon hung out in Huntington, Pennsylvania at a martini bar, where he met several college girls. They invited him to a house party, where he supposedly played beer pong, drank, flirted, then went to another bar, where he supposedly told one of the girls, "We might be getting a divorce."

While fans of the popular TLC show shouldn't necessarily start worrying just yet, there are alleged pictures of him partying on Photobucket and Livejournal. All the gossip was enough for Jon to make a statement, saying how "hurtful" it was for people to spread rumors and that it made him "reluctant to live my life like the average person would." He did close by saying, "As you can see on the show, I am not perfect."

The Monkees' Peter Tork Suffering From Rare Cancer

The singer revealed on his website that he was recently diagnosed with Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma. The cancer grows at a slow rate and is usually found in the head and neck. Tork's was found on the lower region of the tongue.

Tork, 67, remains optimistic, saying, "It's so rare a combination (on the tongue) that there isn't a lot of experience among the medical community about this particular combination. On the other hand, the type of cancer it is, never mind the location, is somewhat well known, and the prognosis, I'm told, is good."

The biopsy showed that the cancer has not spread. Tork underwent surgery on Wednesday and will have a round of radiation treatment afterwards. I'm sure everyone's thoughts and prayers go out to Tork as he goes through this difficult time.

M.I.A. and Her Son's Doozy of a Name

The Sri Lankan rapper who so gamely performed at the Grammys the night she was due to give birth, has finally announced the name of her son. Now we're almost wishing she hadn't.

Ickitt. His name is Ickitt.

This generation of celebrity children will start their own club, you wait and see. Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson's offspring Bronx Mowgli will be there, so will Lisa Bonet's son Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa, Gwen Stefani's boys Zuma Nesta Rock and Kingston and Soleil Moon Frye's little girl Jagger Joseph Blue.

CORRECTION: Fortunately, Ickitt is NOT the name of M.I.A.'s son. She told everyone on her MySpace Blog that she didn't want to release the baby's name because that's not news. At least his name isn't Ickitt!
