Jon & Kate Plus 8 vs. Aunt Jody -- a Family Member Finally Speaks Up

Apparently, Kate will do anything for a quick buck, even if that means lying to her public or not putting the children's best interests first. Just when I swore I would leave this topic alone, a public feud between Jon and Kate Gosselin of TLC's Jon & Kate Plus 8, and their Aunt Jody validated my opinions about Kate and her odd behavior.

Aunt Jody's sister has unleashed her aggravation in a blog called Truth Breeds Hatred. In this blog, she not only explains why Aunt Jody will not be on Jon & Kate Plus 8 this season (essentially, Kate's greed and hypocrisy), but she also explains just how bad Kate really is off-camera towards everyone involved with the production of the show - including her husband and the children.

I read through that entire blog. It's obvious to me that Jody's sister is a caring individual with a good dose of compassion for the kids, and a great deal of common sense. She is a true advocate for those children. It's about time someone was publicly.

It's always bewildered me how people can watch that show and think Kate is such an amazing parent. Fans of Kate constantly excuse her behavior and tell others not to judge them, but as I've said before, most of her outbursts are inexcusable.

While I've never brought the kids into any of my writing before, I will say that I've always felt bad for them - especially now that they are older and able to comprehend the craziness going on in that house. As Jody's sister said, these kids live on stage 24/7, unlike regular child actors who get a break. Jody's house was that break. I'm sure it was a well-deserved break from Kate's neurosis as well. I guarantee, the kids don't understand why they are being yelled at half the time.

In this new blog, Jody's sister also mentioned how Jon and Kate aren't exactly telling the whole truth when they tell their story at churches. Between her stories of stress and woe, and the ample "love offering" given by the audience, Kate fails to mention that TLC supplies her with anything she could ever possible needs to raise that family, including a personal organic chef and now paid child care to replace Aunt Jody's support.

The blog goes on to say, "...She has a personal ORGANIC [sic] chef who cooks her meals, she has a gardener and lawn service company, she has someone who cleans for her, people who iron, fold and put away her laundry, people who care for the children, and a personal assistant who runs her errands and whatever else she needs. Then she also has Jon around 24/7 to do everything else that she finds distasteful, such as play with the children, bathe them, and put them to bed."

Kate has all of this help, yet insists that the kids drive her "crazy" - yes, those are her own words.

There is too much in her blog to hit on here, but I think it would be an interesting read for those who think Kate walks on water. I wasn't surprised about anything I read because I always had a feeling things were much worse off-camera.

As far as the drama, Kate has acknowledged it on her website http://www.sixgosselins.com:

    olá, eu adro ver-vos adoro os vosso filhos eles são adoráveis ambos tem bons comportamentos e tentam ajudar os vossos filhos nas suas dificuldades e são uns óptimos pais. Todos os dias vejo os programas no canal Discovery Travel e Living e adoro-vos simplesmente. Adoro os episódios da praia e das aulas de natação. Continuem assim.     Get a life. These people are living life the best they know how which is probably about as dysfunctional as the rest of our lives. No doubt a lot you have to say has some merit, but why don't you spend as much time your own dysfunction as theirs and lead by example instead of criticism. And Karen, who made you Mother Earth? Who said you could give them a "real life"? Geez, people, enough already.

    you know I wish I could take the kids and really give them a real life. I hope and pray that they will find peace in their life. It's really ashame that 10 people are broken. Just think if they would have followed through with their moral and values and faith, maybe they would be going down a different path. Please God help this family one by one and then by family.

    As time goes on Kate begins to look more and more like a crazy person too me. Based on how she present on National Television, she is losing it quickly. She is not the first person to experience a divorce or have a bunch of kids. She needs to get a grip and a different perspective on life. Worse things have happened to better people. I am not not if she is even a fit mother...not based on the tabloids but on her own behavior on the show and on TV interviews. Someone call DHHS and save those poor kids!

    God, Kate bugs the crap out of me. What a hypocrite. How can we forget how in the begining you can clearly see the kids irrate her. Too dirty, too mess, boys stink.....Now it's a different tune. "I would do anything for my kids, they are my life"....how fake. If she would do anything for the kids, she would of kept the dogs, but no, they were too much for her. Hello, she has help which she admits. Remember the John cooking episode and she said people who need a receipe are not good cooks. But wow, she had a cookbook deal with TLC for later this year that was cancelled due to bad press. I can't stand to see her face and am glad the show is over and those poor kids can try to live a real life and pick up the pieces of the mess their parents created. I can't blame John for flipping out like he did, he had to live and listen to her crap for so long. Forgive the errors, but was on a rant.

    Who in their right mind wants to watch such a dysfunctional couple air their dirty laundry and make spectacles of their kids? Making millionaires out of people like this is disgusting. Enough is enough, get these *@#*8% off the air!
