Jon & Kate Plus Eight Divorce? Jon Cheating? Season Five Will Tell All

Has Jon Been Cheating, or Has This New Celebutont Overwhelmed Himself with His New Fame

After watching Jon & Kate Plus Eight on March 24, 2009. I've realized that the writers over played Jon's statement of him wanting to be a separate entity from Kate and the kids. Jon stated at the beginning of the episode, "I can't just be Jon, I have to be Jon & Kate Plus Eight, which is a real hard thing for me. I still haven't come to grips with it." The writers replayed the same scene three times. Throughout the show Jon stressed that he was helping out his mother. Jon stated that he was at his moms house helping her with recover because her husband wasn't there to help her. Jon's tone was defensive when he explained to the camera, "I got out, people know I go out." What I couldn't come to terms with was Jon distinctively making sure that the audience knew that he was at his mom's house during the interview. That has nothing to do with his name separating itself from Kate and the kids, but I guess he thinks that it's become an issue due to his tone. "I was at my moms house for eight days. There was a lot going on at my house, but I had to help her because her husband went away."

The producers were building up the season finale for an abrupt end, and it was nothing of the sort. At the end of the show the writers finally asked Jon & Kate, "because of the show the kids have had a lot of cool opportunities, but how has this past year been for the two of you?" Kate snagged the answer and started saying that "it's the best things, and it's the hardest thing." When Kate said she was ready for season five, Jon tilted his head back and rolled his eyes. He hates that he works at home, and Kate loves it. He said that it's just not him. "I am happy that our show is popular, or what ever it is, um, but, it's hard being on this side of the camera, and not just sitting here, I mean that's the easy part. It's going out in the world and trying to live your life and people see your life as an episode, and you see as a date on the calendar. I mean we don't have privacy at all. If I go out people know I got out, and photograph and do everything they gotta do to do something about it." Kate said that they were going to take a little break to iron things out, and maybe they would be back, or maybe they wouldn't.

Jon & Kate have changed as each episode aired. Kate was a wonderful woman that spoke her mind about things, so that things could get done. She would occasionally hit Jon in a playful manner and they would both laugh about it. Now, it seems that their relationship has become a chore. They don't laugh with each other, joke around, they bicker more then ever. They shows focus is suppose to be on the kids, and that's what really got me into watching. The show started to take a change, as did Jon & Kate. The producers started focusing on the couples drama, and just recently bloggers have writing about Jon going out and partying. There were also alleged rumors that Jon had been with a college student. I am sure the show was taped a while ago, so I wonder what Jon really meant when he was saying when he wanted to be Jon. If Jon & Kate are trying to fix their marriage I think that they do need a break from taping so that they can get back on track. But one thing that wont change, is Jon & Kate Plus Eight. They will always be Jon & Kate Plus Eight because the show has been airing for so long. Jon has to accept that they are now celebrities.

The producers decided to change sets if they were going to do another season. The set changing and the couch being uncomfortable was the most drama that happened for the final episode of season four of Jon & Kate Plus Eight.
