Jon & Kate Plus Eight: A New Home for the Family or a Castle for the Queen?
To be honest, Jon & Kate Plus Eight has not grace my television for more than a passing glance since Aunt Jodi was booted from the show and the lives of the Gosselins. I guess they figured why involved family in the show, when they can just pay someone who does not have a personal connection with the children and their well being. Or if Kate would have let TLC pay Aunt Jodi, maybe Jon & Kate would have only been able to get a five bathroom house instead of seven. Who knows what the real reason behind it was, I just find it a bit appalling.

Although I no longer watch Jon & Kate Plus 8 on TLC, I did break down and watch the you tube videos of the new house. I can honestly say I am glad that I decided not to watch. Once again Kate portrayed her true and nasty self as she berated Jon for not standing beside her as she laid down the new rules for their bedroom. Kate informed the Children that mommy and daddy's bedroom was off limits and they would not be allowed inside the door.
While in the kitchen of their new million dollar home, Kate was repulsed by the sight of a dirty refrigerator and immediately went off onto a tangent. Although she had a right to be appalled and disgusted, she could have some common decency and respect for the previous owner. However, when Kate looked out the window above her kitchen sink and said "Mine. All mine." I began to wonder if the new house we had just seen on Jon & Kate Plus Eight would truly be a home for the family or just a castle for queen.

Post a CommentShe's turned from multiple mom to diva...I still respect her for what she does, but I don't know if I'd get along with her in real life...hopefully she's different with her girlfriends, at least!
They need to quit the show! I don't even watch it anymore. Kate has problems! JON keep cheating on her dumb ass!
I don't care for Kate at all. I think she's a VERY controlling person and I don't blame Jon for cheating; it's not right, but She deserves it!
When this show first aired, I loved it. I loved it because it made me feel more normal about the trials and tribulations that parents go through. I feel betrayed that this family no longer has the same concerns as most of us do yet ACT as if they do. A nanny, chef, big house, vacations, and financial security? I no longer relate to them. Atleast other shows where the family is privilidged don't pretend not to be. What liars! If I hear Kate cry about how tired she is-I'll put my foot through the TV screen. "The Learning Network?" They should be ashamed.

I think it's really sad that not only did Kate NOT allow the kids to pick out names for their "only" big Christmas gift (the puppies), at the end of the show when the kids all said "thank you mom" and she said "you're not welcome" ... what mother says that to her children! Would someone please answer me how TLC thinks that this is a good enough show to continue all the freebies, the trips, the money??? It's time someone puts a stop to this "reality" show!
After watching the last episode I was so furious with the (expletive)'s comments concerning the GSD breeder - (who just happened to be in Law enforcement) I couldn't sleep. As a fellow breeder of these fine, intelligent dogs, they really deserve a better owner, but they will be smart enough to overcome her stupidity. As for the breeder I would have serious issue as to the rude comments she made about him on national TV. She has no class whatsoever.
