Jonas Brothers Gossip: Are Joe Jonas and Taylor Swift Dating?

Rumor has it that Joe Jonas is hooking up with one of country music's youngest stars, Taylor Swift. Is it fact or they really just friends?

The rumors began over the summer while both the Jonas Brothers and Taylor Swift were on tour, not together of course. But Nick Jonas was spotted trying to keep a low profile at a Taylor Swift concert and she in turn showed up to several Jonas Brothers shows.

Taylor Swift even made a very brief, and some say, accidental appearance in a Jonas Brother video that was uploaded to YouTube. The Jonas Brothers frequently put out candid videos on the YouTube channel so that their fans can get a little taste of life behind the scenes. In this particular video, the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato act out a very short sequence in which Joe Jonas claims to have created the world's first scratch & sniff website.

The short video was made to be funny, but observant fans caught a glimpse of a certain young blonde who appeared for just a brief second in a shot through the mirror. This quickly started a discussion as to whether the blonde in question was really Taylor Swift or not and why she didn't just appear in the video if she was there hanging out with her "friends".

Then, photos of the two in public began to appear on celebrity gossip blogs and magazines. But the photo that drew the most interest was a shot of Joe Jonas and Taylor Swift on what appeared to be a double date with brother, Nick Jonas and rumored girlfriend, Selena Gomez. Fans of the two asked if it was just a friendly dinner, why wasn't older brother, Kevin Jonas, in attendance?

However, both Joe Jonas and Taylor Swift have denied that they are dating. Demi Lovato, a friend of the Jonas Brothers and a rising star in her own right, has even gone as far as going on the record to say that the rumors are not true and that they two are in fact just friends.

We know that Joe Jonas and Taylor Swift obviously have a lot in common, since they are both popular, young music stars dealing with many of the same pressures and issues that surround this sort of lifestyle. And there is no denying that the talented and photogenic teens make a very cute couple together. Still, as long as the two continue to deny their romantic status, I suppose it's anybody's guess if the two are really a couple.
