Jones Soda Co. NEW Carbonated Candy

Like little mini sweet tarts, with fizz. That's the best way I can think of to describe this awesome new product from Jones Soda.

These tiny little candies come in packs of 50 in little tins with a pop top. About the shape of a pack of gum, but in a tin like a pack of mints, they are somewhere in between candy and mints. Just like the sayings under the soda caps, each pack of candy has a unique saying underneath the lid. One tin I opened says, "call your grandparents," while another says, "I bet you can't lick your elbow," keeping in the tradition of fun that the Jones Soda Co. is best known for.

The candy comes in the three favorite flavors of Jones Soda- Green Apple, Fufu Berry, and Berry Lemonade. In intensity, Green Apple is the strongest flavor, and Berry Lemonade the weakest. Green Apple happens to be my favorite.

They really look like little mini sweet tarts, except with a little "J" engraved on each candy, but then there is a fun surprise when you pop it in your mouth. When you start to suck on it, they sort of fizzle on your tongue. It's not quite as intense a tingling as Pop Rocks- just a slight bubbly feeling. If you chew them, they practically liquefy, filling your mouth with the delicious feeling of Jones Soda.

I handed a few to a friend, not telling her what to expect. She popped them into her mouth and said, "Well that was a pleasant surprise," as they began to fizzle.

You can also add these little candies to your favorite Jones Sodas for an added flavor boost.

I've been carrying these little tins around in my purse, and I have found that they really help me to maintain my diet. They are so intensely flavorful, that I don't need to eat more than two of them to satisfy my cravings for something tasty. Two candies is only 5 calories!
