How to edit the current "Contact Us" information in a Joomla web site:
If you only have one contact to list information for,
1) log intowww.yoursitename.com/administrator
2) Along the row of menus at the top, click "components".
3) Choose "contact us".
4) When the page loads, click "name".
5) Make your changes
6) Click the disk icon at the top to save.
How to create new contacts in a Joomla web site:
To list more than one contact in the "contact us" area of a Joomla site, you will need to create new contacts.
1) log intowww.yoursitename.com/administrator
2) Along the row of menus at the top, click "components".
3) Choose "contact us".
4) Click the New Button.
5) Enter the Information
6) Click the disk icon to save.
How to add an image to a contact in a Joomla web site:
To add an image next to a co ntacts information in the "contact us" area of a Joomla site:
1) log intowww.yoursitename.com/administrator
2) Along the row of menus at the top, click "components".
3) Choose "contact us".
4) Click the name of the contact you wish to add an image to.
5) In the images area, choose the image from the list.
6) Click the disk icon to save.
If the image you want to use has not been uploaded, you will need to upload the image first by using the following instructions.
How to add an image to your image pool for use with contacts in a Joomla web site:
You can upload images using a ftp program or file manager on your server or you can upload images one at a time within Joomla. To upload with your file manager or FTP, the folder to upload images to (so you can use them in your content) is public_html>name of folder you installed joomla to>images>stories. You may create folders inside of stories if you wish to seperate images into different folders.
To upload images one at a time within joomla:
1) Log in to your administration area at www.yoursitename.com/administrator
2) In the top row of menus go to "site"
3) Choose Media Manager in the drop down menu.
4) Click the folder that says "stories
5) At the top left of the page use the "browse" button to find the image you want to upload.
6) Click upload at the top.
After completing this step, you may return to the contacts area to select the image for a specific contact from the list.
