Joran Attempting to Use Holloway's Murder to Get Him to Aruba - Van Der Sloot Sly as a Fox, Not Fearful in Peru

Joran Planned All Along to Seek Aruba Asylum...That's Been His Game Plan Since His Peruvian Arrest

Radell Smith
In Aruba, Joran van der Sloot has many friends and influential connections, in spite of his father's death. The Dutch man, according to CNN, is now attempting to get taken back to that country by playing the Natalee Holloway body card. Van der Sloot claims it is due to the fear his life is in danger in Peru.

Joran is claiming that he his fearful for his life in the jail in Peru. He should be. Van der Sloot murdered one of the town's most well-liked and prominent member's of society's daughter. So the Dutch man should be very afraid. Peru isn't known for being easy on their foreign criminals, Joran's got several fellow Dutchmen also incarcerated in cells in Peru, according to the Dutch authorities.

Aruba Change of Venue Not Just Safer

Aruba offers the alleged murderer more control of his environment, even from a jail cell, as he grew up on the island and his family is well known and connected there. His father had served as an attorney and a judge in Aruba, prior to his own death.

Joran was able to be released twice from Aruban authorities when arrested in regards to the Natalee Holloway case. He knows that judicial system, and his family has many contacts there and at the Haig. It is what I believe his goal was all along in this new murder case: get back on home turf, where influential family friends can control his situation better.

Peru Should Refuse to Extradict Joran to Aruba or America

Natalee Holloway's family would like closure, which for them will come with the posession and knowledge of their daughter's remains. I understand that completely. But Joran van der Sloot is just playing a game with them, yet again.

Joran has no intention of ever divulging where Natalee is, for sick reasons of his own. He is, however, smart enough to realize that playing the Natalee Holloway body card is his ticket out of a Peruvian jail. Joran knows that the Holloway family, specifically Natalee's mother, will move heaven and earth to get him moved if it will get her info on Natalee's whereabouts.

Backed Into a Foreign Corner, the Fox Attempts to Free Himself

America has a lot of power and influence, putting that muscle behind a move for Joran to be taken to Aruba could well tip the scales in Joran van der Sloot's favor. Peru might bow to the American plea that Joran be taken to Peru...just long enough to disclose Natalee's remains whereabouts.

Van der Sloot won't ever leave Aruba if that happens, however. The game plan is already in the works for this young man to never be seen again if his feet touches that soil, you can count on it.

No Justice for Natalee...Even in Aruba

The sad fact is, Natalee Holloway and her family won't get justice--or her remains--by Joran van der Sloot being taken to Aruba. Joran slipped through the slippery fingers of justice too many times on that soil before. He will do it again if taken there. Van der Sloot's removal from Peru will just put other young women in danger, as he will get free by the Dutch courts if removed from Peruvian legal authority. You can count on it.

Natalee Holloway's family are likely torn between wanting to believe he isn't lying...this time, and wanting to see him suffer justice for what he did to their loved one. That will only come if Joran van der Sloot is left to his fate in the Peruvian jail and justice system.

If you doubt that, just remember how Jorna van der Sloot absconded with the $25,000 he just took off the Holloways, and how our FBI has no legal jurisdiction to arrest him on foreign soil. Joran van der Sloot is sly as a fox, and his 'fear' of the Peruvians is his ace in the hole.

This Joran person seems to be a very evil and sick person. Let him stay there and let the justice work on him. This will protect other young girls.

It is the time for the Dutch people to understand the difference between:
Cowardly killing the helpless American girl Natalee in Netherlands territories, by a bunch of Dutch criminals, and cowardly killing the helpless Peruvian girl Stephanie in Peru, by one of the Dutch criminals

it's not aruba or peru. it's hell on earth in peru or slightly more tolerable circumstances at another place in peru. no way should this guy be sent to aruba where he can manipulate the circumstances he now finds himself.

  • Shelly Barclay6/14/2010

I can't wait until this guy gets what he deserves.

Natalie's mother is never going to get her remains unfortunately. It's a given that joran killed her. We knew this from the start from all the hard work done by her family, NOT aruba's. The only way he is going to pay is to LEAVE him there. He needs to pay. Who knows how many times. It's HIS turn.
