Joran Van Der Sloot Confesses

Dutchman and Aruban citizen, Joran van der Sloot confessed to killing Peruvian student, 21 year old, Stephany Flores because, "she intruded into his private life".

The murder suspect and all around sleaze-bag, confessed to murdering the woman when, according to Joran, she accessed his laptop computer and learned he was connected to the disappearance of Natalie Holloway in 2005. Joran said that he "flew into a rage" and broke the woman's neck, along with stabbing her multiple times

I'm sure Beth Holloway, Natalie Holloway's mother is finding the confession bitter sweet. It does not bring back her lovely daughter who also allegedly died at the hands of Joran van der Sloot. But, she is finally seeing the boomerang of Karma finding its way back to the man who has held valuable knowledge in the murder of her daughter, yet, has refused to cooperate.

For the past five years, Joran Van Der Sloot has played cat and mouse games with Beth Holloway and other authorities, toying with them in interviews, mocking them even at times, as if he knew he would never get caught. Undercover tape was released a few years ago, showing Joran bragging about the killing of Natalie Holloway and saying that no one would ever find her body.

Why authorities consistently held that they did not have enough evidence to convict Joran van der Sloot of Natalie Holloway's murder five years ago, has continued to baffle any and all who have followed the case. Were Joran van der Sloot in the United States, he would have surely been tried and convicted for the crime given all the evidence accrued against him.

Justice Difficult for Americans in Other Countries

The Joran van der Sloot case simply highlights how difficult it is for Americans to get justice in other countries. Joran Van Der Sloot was a very well connected, privileged son of a former Aruban judge when he was brought up on the charges of Natalie's murder. His father, Paul van der Sloot, who is now deceased, continually advised his son throughout the ordeal, until eventually, Joran was let go. In spite of the fact, that many Aruban authorities felt he had committed the crime.

Similar disgusting circumstances surrounded another murder case in 1994, when American football hero, O.J. Simpson, brutally and savagely murdered his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend, Ron Goldberg.

Like Joran Van Der Sloot, the evidence and circumstances were overwhelmingly in the favor of the prosecution. But, O.J.'s status as a football hero and racial tensions between white Americans and black Americans played in his favor. He was acquitted of the brutal murders right before the eyes of millions of shocked Americans.

Also like Joran, O.J.'s arrogance ultimately became his demise. It took many years before O.J.'s crime found its way back to him, but it did. In 2007, O.J. Simpson was arrested and tried for kidnapping and robbery in the state of Nevada. 13 unlucky years to the day of his acquittal on the 1994 murder charges, O.J. Simpson was sentenced to 15 years in prison. Talk about a Karma bitch-slap.

Joran Van Der Sloot's confession will bring to close the murder of the Peruvian girl who, ironically enough, was murdered 5 years to the day that Natalie Holloway went missing. Joran van der Sloot will now likely spend the rest of his life in prison thanks to another fine Karma bitch-slap. Welcome to hell, Joran.
