Joran van der Sloot and his stories just keep piling up. In the midst of Joran van der Sloot being jailed as a suspect for the murder of a Peruvian woman, the public gets to hear about the sad story that he told during his extortion attempts with the Natalee Holloway case. According to Fox News, "Prosecutors in Alabama say van der Sloot promised to tell Beth Holloway what really happened to her daughter in exchange for $250,000."

Joran van der Sloot was willing to put whatever information he could out there in order to obtain the cash he requested. Joran van der Sloot insinuated that he pushed Natalee, and "she hit her head," and his dad helped him bury her, according to Fox News. This is another fantastic tale of Joran van der Sloot's, but at least one half of the party that Joran claims was involved in the burying is now dead, so what next?

This tale could turn out to be true, but authorities still need a body to prove it. Could it be that Joran van der Sloot plans on using the whereabouts of Natalee Holloway's body as leverage for himself in the case of the Peruvian woman? Would this even be possible? Is Joran van der Sloot's newest version of what happened to Natalee Holloway even a true version?

Authorities have yet to prove other Joran van der Sloot stories about Natalee Holloway, so what makes this story any different? Joran van der Sloot is no stranger to the law, and he seems to know how to manipulate those around him. He may continue to tell his tall tales, but will authorities ever really prove for sure what happened to Natalee Holloway?

As for the Peruvian woman's death, authorities said that fingernail scrapings are "standard procedure," but that they don't have the results back yet from such scrapings, according to Fox News. Fingernail scrapings could be the ticking time bomb in this case, so will the young Peruvian woman's fingernails reveal enough information to convict Joran van der Sloot, if he is, in fact, her killer?

The good news in this really horrific death is that authorities do have the body of the Peruvian woman. Will authorities ever find Natalee Holloway?
