Joran Van Der Sloot Update: Joran's Dirty Little Secrets Besides Coffee and Cake - Joran Will Walk
Joran Has Many More Dirty Little Secrets Other Than Drinking Coffee and Eating Cake Over a Dead Body
If Joran van der Sloot's murder confession in Peru is news to you, let me bring you up to speed. The Dutch man allegedly involved in the disappearance in May 2005 of American Alabama high school graduate Natalee Holloway, is now accused--and has confessed--to murdering a Peruvian girl named Stephany Flores.
Joran van der Sloot told authorities in Peru (after three days of sitting in their jail cell and being interrogated) that he "didn't mean to do it," referring to Stephany's murder.
Latest details of day of crime
On Thur., June 10, additional details came to light: Stephany's father owns the casino where she and Joran met, drank alcohol and started up a conversation. Flores drove Van der Sloot back to his Miraflores Hotel in her jeep, where she proceeded to follow him into his room, willingly.
A date rape pill wrapper found in Flores' vehicle points to her potential victimization by Joran as early as the drive back to his hotel room, which would explain Stephany's slow walk behind Joran in the hotel lobby, caught on security cameras, and her inability to fend off his attack later.
Lesbian preference mentioned as factor
But the National Enquirer says police believe Stephany refused Joran's advances, professing her lesbian preference, and that this is what led to their initial altercation in the wee hours of the morning. That has not been confirmed by law enforcement, however. Nor has Stephany's family or friends confirmed that either.
Given that details have emerged stating Stephany was clad only in a t-shirt and panties when found, it has to be assumed she was allowed to refrain from removing her clothing entirely or was allowed to put it back on after any attack occurred.
Some of Joran's secrets shared
Joran van der Sloot has told law enforcement that he and Stephanie slept until 8 a.m. that morning, he left to get some coffee and sponge cakes for them, but returned to find her snooping on his computer. Joran confronted Stephany, who became afraid, desiring to leave, but he restrained her, hitting her in the nose with his elbow and later beating her with a tennis racket.
Van der Sloot ate sponge cakes and drank expresso as he contemplated what to do with the dead girl's body before him on the floor. He took three amphetamine pills as well, he said, claiming it was to help him fight his exhaustion from the night's events and long hours of gambling.
"I was going to use one of my suitcases to get rid of the body, but I didn't do it because I was afraid I would be detained leaving the hotel with my baggage and not paying the bill."
Getaway made by murdering Dutch man
Joran says he showered, shaved, packed up his belongings, including the laptop with Natalee data on it, and left Stephany Flores lying in a pool of her own blood in his room. He attempted to buy himself time by telling the hotel clerk not to 'bother my girl,' and it worked like a charm, as they didn't find Stephany's body for three days.
But these are the dirty little murdering secrets Joran wants the public to know. The secrets he was so willing to share with the Peruvian authorities.
Joran's other dirty little secrets
Serial killers love to play with the minds of the victims' family, the public and the cops. They find it almost as thrilling as killing their victims. Joran van der Sloot, the Dutch man who couldn't zip his mouth fast enough after being arrested for the murder of Natalee is now eager to be an open book.
There is something very wrong with that picture. That smacks like a set up, to me. Guilty men do not willingly confess. They ride out the interrogation and attempt to manipulate law enforcement. They don't normally confess.
Dirty Little Secret #1 - Joran's mother isn't AWOL
While Van der Sloot has been taking police on a ride of confessions and disclosures, his mother has been lining up a lawyer that will tear down this confession in the house of cards it has been built upon.
Mother and son have ridden this controversial wave before, in Aruba. They know the drill. If you are caught, go to plan B. Plan B in Joran's case was to lower the guard of the Peruvian authorities so they would nix the crime reconstruction they normally do. J
oran also wanted them to allow him access to his own legal counsel, not the one they provided, so he 'played along' by confessing. He knew it wouldn't stand up in court in the end. He also knew they would give him what he wanted if he talked: food, cigarettes...The Peruvian law enforcement spokesperson said as much to the press himself.
Dirty Little Secret #2 - Joran's Confession Isn't Any Good
Joran's father was a judge. Joran and his mother know every dirty little legal trick in the book. All Van der Sloot had to do was tell the police what they wanted to hear, outside the presence of a legitimate lawyer representing him, and they wouldn't be able to use it.
Prosecutors in Peru have been handed over the case investigation file and are now in charge of determining what--if any--the charges will be against Joran van der Sloot. Joran's lawyer, Maximo Alonso Altez Navarro has come out on record on Thur., June 10 to say that he is going to get that confession thrown out on some technicalities.
Dirty Little Secret #3 - Joran knows he is going to walk away free
Joran van der Sloot was detained twice by Arubian police and let go both times. People wondered how he could skate away from arrest so easily when he acknowledged he was the last one to see--and be--with Natalee Holloway the night she disappeared.
Now people will wonder why a confessing murderer is able to be released from Peru with what looks like hard evidence against him. But the evidence against Joran was built on a house of cards. He was interrogated without his own legal counsel present. He did not agree to the legal public defender legal counsel forced upon him. And there is a question about the evidence chain of command being compromised (Stephany's body).
Legalities, legalities, legalities equals loopholes
Any serial offender worth their weight in salt knows that a legality can make a confessing murderer a free man. Joran's father, a judge when he was alive, likely educated Van der Sloot on all possible scenarios when the boy was facing prosecution in the Natalee Holloway case. And Joran, as we can see, is an apt student.
It is a terrible miscarriage of justice, as he is most likely to be released yet again, even with a confession having been made. And it will mean two families, Natalee Holloways and Stephany Flores, will not see justice for their loved ones.

Post a CommentVery interesting article but i must say i completely disagree. Joran WILL NOT be set free. If so, the people of Peru will find him themselves and kill him. I can pretty much guarantee that he will not be let go, especially now that his attorney has quit.
Very nice job with this.
