Joran van der Sloot Wants His Mommy!

Tough-talking Joran van der Sloot seemed to be able to stand alone when he was talking tall in regards to missing Natalee Holloway, but now he's not talking as tough. According to cnn.com, Joran van der Sloot, wants his mother. One can only imagine why. Joran van der Sloot may realize that too much evidence exists to get him out of this situation regarding a dead Peruvian woman in his hotel room. Likely, he wants to make a quick attempt to convince his mother that he's not a brutal man since she was one of his greatest sources of support during the Natalee Holloway case. What is he going to say, though? That someone set him up?

According to cnn.com, the Peruvian woman, Stephany Flores Ramirez, was found in a hotel room that was registered in Joran van der Sloot's name, but authorities said that they found no baseball bat in the room, even though earlier reports claimed that they did. Cnn.com reports that Joran van der Sloot told a hotel worker not to "bother his girl," but the hotel quickly became suspicious because an odor came from the room. Was this Joran van der Sloot's way of buying himself some time to exit the scene? If so, it didn't quite work, now, did it? So, why does Joran van der Sloot ask for his mother? Well, could it be that the brutality of the murder hints at some anger issues toward women, and he could actually be guilty of the murder?

If Joran van der Sloot is the killer, maybe he needs to let his mother know why he did it, or maybe he hopes that his mother will still, somehow, stand in his corner. For sure, a reason exists for why he wants his mother, if none other than support, but will Joran van der Sloot's mother support him, now? They do have a body in this case, so this makes a huge difference. Will the DNA evidence scream loud enough to reach the ears of the judge and convict Joran van der Sloot, or will another legal system claim that a lack of evidence keeps them from a conviction? Right now, it doesn't look good for Joran van der Sloot, and the vest that the authorities have on him suggests that authorities are aware of the public's hatred for Joran van der Sloot.
