Josh and Anna Duggar Are Expecting, Due in October

Anna's Pregnancy Will Be Featured in Next Season's Episodes

Carly Hart
Josh and Anna Duggar have announced that they are expecting and due in October. Joshua, the oldest of Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar's 18 children at 21, has been married to his wife, Anna, for approximately six months. According to Josh and Anna's website, the couple found out that they were expecting in early February. Viewers will be kept up-to-date on Josh and Anna Duggar's life during next season's 18 Kids and Counting! since Anna's pregnancy will be featured to some extent in future episodes. Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar's youngest, Jordyn-Grace, joined the family just before Christmas 2008. Little Jordyn-Grace Duggar will become an aunt before she celebrates her first birthday.

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar to be grandparents, but are they done having their own children?

Michelle and Jim Bob will be grandparents for the first time this fall when Josh and Anna's baby is born. But are Michelle Duggar's baby days over with the birth of Jordyn-Grace at Christmas? Michelle Duggar said last year on the Today Show that she and Jim Bob would love more children if that was what God's plans were. Michelle and Jim Bob are in their early 40s, so more children are definitely possible. As it stands now, soon-to-be aunt Jordyn-Grace will have a niece or nephew her own age as a play mate.

Josh and Anna Duggar will do just fine as first time parents

The Duggar clan is large and Anna herself comes from a large family. They will do just fine as first time parents because they will have the support of their tightly knit families, not to mention the vast experience of their mothers to rely upon if they have any baby related questions. In seeing the courtship of Josh and Anna on the Duggar's reality show, their commitment to each other and their faith was apparent. They have a solid foundation of faith upon which to build their family, not to mention a solid education from Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar on thriftiness, living within your means and avoiding debt.

How many children will Josh and Anna Duggar have? According to their website, that is a question that is often asked. Anna's response is, "We would be happy with two or three if that is all God blesses us with, but we believe that children are a blessing from God and we look forward to receiving each gift that He gives us."

To those who are christian's..we are to love one another and not critizise other's but lift them up in love. Who are we to tell another how many children they should have. Jesus tell's us to take the plank out of our own eye before we take the splinter out of someone else.

well, they won't have any shortage of baby sitters, LOL. If the parents have more children, this new baby will have an "aunt" that is younger -- that would be weird!

To the one named Daylin or whatever, get real. It is not hate or envy here but like repsonsibility and reality. Some women cannot have children. Showcasing fertile families on TV does nothing for their self-esteem. These two just got married and they are young. I think they feel pressured to carry on the tradition. Not many have help from reality shows. They may not rely on PA but you know TLC pays royalites to them. When is limiting family size a sin?
