Mackynzie is one!
The baby will join Josh and Anna's daughter Mackynzie, who turned one on October 8. Josh, 22, runs a used car lot and says the news of the new baby was "awesome." Anna, also 22, announced the news to the extended Duggar family during Mackynzie's first birthday celebration.
Miscarriage
All has not been roses for Josh and Anna. They revealed that Anna had suffered a miscarriage last summer, an event they called "very sad." Josh noted that his parents had had a miscarriage just after his own birth, and Anna reported feeling somewhat better after learning that 30-40% of all pregnancies end in miscarriage.
Will Josh and Anna Stick with the Letter "M?"
Fans of the Duggars are wondering whether Josh and Anna will give future children names beginning with "M," since Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have famously given all 19 of their children names beginning with "J." Josh says they're not sure: they decided on Mackynzie's name late in the pregnancy and will wait this time as well, to "see what fits."
How Many Children Will Josh and Anna Have?
So, are Josh and Anna out to "beat" Jim Bob and Michelle with their baby count? Not necessarily. Josh and Anna are leaving the number of children they have "up to God" - a similar philosophy to Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar.

I found out that Michelle Duggar's Mom Passed Away in the year of 1991 Twenty Year's Ago and Besure to Let Me Know How Michelle Duggar's Mom Ethel Ruark Died Okay. I hope That Josh and Anna Duggar will name Their Baby Son with a Letter "M" and I was Thinking that they would Name HIm Michael Lee Duggar.
I hope that Josh will put his wife before his mother. I can't believe that he and his wife decided that Michelle would know THEIR baby's sex before THEY even knew. Is letting Michelle announce it to the entire family a wise decision? No mother-in-law should be in control of something so personal to a couple. I can't believe Anna would agree to that unless she is so controlled by Josh that she just believes he knows what is best. I think it would be wise for Josh to leave his mother and father and cling to his wife and be their own family. Isn't this just what God says he should do?
Congrats to them! I'm kinda hoping that GrandBaby Duggar #2 will be a little boy this time, only b/c there were no boys born since Johanna's birth in 2005, only girls, so I think having a baby boy will be a nice dynamic change, although another baby girl will be just as exciting and welcomed! Gender does not matter though, only the health of the mother and baby :) Can't wait to hear more about the upcoming arrival!
I sure do hope that Michelle and Jim Bob and Josh and Anna Duggar all go and see Doctor Amy Sarver at the same time and to see about how their unborn babies are still doing. I hope that Michelle and JimBob Duggar will have another little baby girl this time and Josh and Anna Duggar will have twin girls this time too. Keep me posted if Josh and Anna Duggar will be having twins okay.
I sure do hope that Josh and Anna Duggar go to their Doctor's Appointment for a Sonogram to see if their Second Baby is another little girl or a little boy this time. Please Keep me posted okay. And I found out that the show Called: 19 kids and counting will be getting to be moved on Monday Nights this time. And I'm going to be watching the Duggar's Show when Jessa Duggar Celebrates her 18th Birthday by going Sky Diving and when Michelle Duggar takes a Home Pregnancy Test to see if it's positive or negative. I hope the Duggars do Another Show Called: 20 kids and counting too.
I hope that everything will be just a okay with Josh and Anna Duggar and their second unborn child and it doesn't matter what god gives them. If Josh and Anna Duggar have twenty-five kids poor Anna will be busy HomeSchooling them all at the same time. Just like poor Michelle Duggar when she did the same thing. When I first watched the Duggar's first show called Fourteen Children and Pregnant again Michelle Duggar was pregnant with Jackson Levi Duggar at that time. I want to know if 19 kids and Counting will be airing on TLC. Please keep me posted and for the update okay.
I sure do hope that Josh and Anna Duggar have three or four kids someday. And I hope that Josh and Anna Duggar will go in for the Sonogram and find out the Gender of their second Baby and they can put it in the Gender Cake. And fly out to New York City for The Today Show so that Buddy The Cake Boss will bring out the Gender Cake so that Josh and Anna Duggar will find out if they're having a boy or another little girl this time. I'm hoping that they'll go and see Doctor Amy Sarver and to see if their second baby is alright and to see if the baby if healthy too. I'm hoping when the month of June comes of this year in 2011 when Anna Duggar is Nine Months Pregnant and when she goes into labor with her second baby and when her bag of water breaks. I'm thinking that Josh and Anna Duggar might do another home birth. let me know about the gender of josh and anna duggar's second child okay.
Goodness- congrats to them, but I hope they don't have a huge amount of kids- sounds like tough work :)
