Josh Duhamel Marries His Celebrity Crush
The entire wedding party was outfitted by Dolce & Gabbana. Fergie was covered in millions of diamonds by H. Stern, who also designed the wedding bands worn by Josh Duhamel and Fergie.

Stacy "Fergie" Ferguson
Fergie, 33, got her start in show business in 1984 as the voice of Sally Brown in several Charlie Brown television episodes. Also from 1984 - 1989, Stacy Ferguson was featured in the children's show Kids Incorporated. While Fergie has had several gigs as a television actor, she is most famous for her voice, first as lead singer with the Black Eyed Peas, and then later as a solo artist.
Josh Duhamel
Josh Duhamel, 36, was born in Minot, North Dakota. He grew up in Minot and attended Minot State University. Josh Duhamel's future plans for himself included being a dentist, but he dropped out of college just a few credits shy of his undergraduate's degree.
Josh Duhamel's start in show business is much different from Fergie's. According to Wikipedia, Duhamel followed an ex-girlfriend to California to film hardcore pornos and fell into modeling. He won Male Model of the Year in 1997, and in 1999, Duhamel landed the role of Leo du Pres on All My Children. Duhamel left ABC in 2002 and won a prime time role in NBC's Las Vegas as Danny McCoy.
How Josh and Fergie met
Fergie appeared on Las Vegas in 2004 with the Black Eyed Peas. It was shortly after Fergie's appearance on the show that the couple started dating. According to Usmagazine.com, Duhamel had confessed to In Style magazine that Fergie was his secret celebrity crush.
My 2007 Interview with Josh Duhamel
Josh Duhamel's grandparents live in my home town, and as lead reporter for the local newspaper, I had the opportunity to interview Josh after he made an appearance on NBC's 1 vs. 100. Duhamel was raising money for a North Dakota domestic violence charity, and after contacting his grandparents, I was able to talk to Josh Duhamel on the phone.
Josh Duhamel was very casual and gracious during the interview. I asked him about Fergie at that time, and he said Stacy enjoyed traveling to North Dakota with him as they had just been back for Josh Duhamel's sister's wedding.
In my phone conversations with Josh Duhamel's grandparents, they really seemed to like Fergie, and they called Josh a "good old North Dakota boy."

Josh has been seen taking his grandmother to the movies and out to the Pizza Ranch, although I've never seen him. When I interviewed him, I asked if we could meet, since I've talked to him on the phone already, and he said to call his grandmother and have her set it up. I think she forgot! ;) I'll have to give her a call again.
Cool! Hubby went to high school with a guy in the Blood Hound Gang. Maybe you'll be spotting Fergie and Josh Duhamel in town one day and can report on a celeb sighting.
