Joshuah and Natalie Bless the Big Brother 9 House

Just before midnight, March 1, 2008, Josh and Natalie gather their Bibles and walk around Blessing the Big Brother house. Their aim is to rid the house of the evil in it.

Several events came together to make Josh feel the need to do this and as Natalie has deep faith, she was the perfect person to do this with.

First:

Earlier in the day, the Houseguests received a letter from Big Brother telling them that when they heard a siren, they were all to gather in the living room immediately, to expect this at any time and to expect the unexpected.

Second:

Just an hour before, each person had been called into the Diary Room for a short session, asking them about the letter and what they thought it meant.

Third:

Allison had been in bed with James and Chelsia kissing and laughing and playing under the blankets. When Allison finally got into her own bed, Shelia got up to report to whomever was awake what Allison was doing to get votes. Natalie was one of the people awake and she went directly to Josh and told him the sex acts that Allison was alleged to have performed in James and Chelsia's bed.

Note to my Readers:

When writing these types of articles, I try to keep my opinions out of them and just report what is happening, regardless of how I personally feel about it. This is different. I have Blessed my own house and take this very seriously. It works, but it requires faith. Faith is not measured by the type of person you are, but by the depth of your beliefs. Here we have a former stripper, who has stripped more than once in the Big Brother house and performed oral sex on another person within this house and a homosexual man who has used every name in the book when he has lost his cool, more than once in the house. It bothers me that Natalie is giggling the entire time, but I know that she has faith and even though she is humored by the whole thing, she believes in the power of what she is doing. Please read this with an open mind.

Blessing the House:

Josh picked up his Bible and told Natalie to go get hers and they were going to rid the house of the evil in it. Josh told Sharon "She's insane," talking about Allison. Sharon said "This house is insane. We can't have peace for two seconds." As Josh walks out the door he said "She is a desperate _____."

Josh meets up with Natalie in the dining room. She talks about throwing Holy Water. Josh said "Let's pick a door." Natalie is laughing and asks "Which Scripture?" He said "Shadow of death." Josh gets a glass of water and tries to calm things down because Natalie is laughing. He said "Lets turn off the lights." He then said "Let's baptize the water." They hold hands and each put one hand on the glass with their fingers in the water and pray. Josh prays "Please give us the strength to deal with whatever evil is coming inside the house, or whatever evil is inside the house. Please let us be God's messengers. Let us be God's warriors. Let us stop the evil." Natalie is giggling so hard that she can barely repeat the words "Stop the evil."

Josh goes to the door to the yard and sprinkles the water across the threshold, with Natalie following behind him giggling. They raise their hands against the door and pray. Josh said "Well, this area is secured." The both say "Stop the evil." They both kiss the glass of water and pray at the door some more. Natalie said "Thank you Jesus."

They grab their Bibles, Natalie is carrying hers above her head, and they go to the front door. Josh sprinkles water around the door and Natalie prays over the door, saying "Stop the evil. Please stop the evil." Then they both stand before the door with their Bibles raised above their heads and pray. Josh prayed "Please dear God, ward off all evil in this house. Do not let anything come in. They move their arms across the door as they repeat "No more evil." Josh looks upward and says "Hello. I need your help." Natalie said "Please, dear God." Josh said "I need you to help me take her out." They pray another few seconds and then Josh looks at Natalie and says "Okay, Diary Room door, AND storage room door."

They pick up their Bibles and the glass of water and head for the other doors. They both sprinkle water across the Diary Room door, then they both hold their Bibles above their heads. Josh prays "Please. Do not let evil in this house, and take the evil out of the house." Josh said "Next door." Natalie said "Next door," and she has calmed down significantly in her laughter and giggles.

They stand in front of the storage room door and Chelsia comes out. They tell her that they are Blessing every door. Chelsia tells them that there is a German Blessing for doors. Josh pushed the button for the storage room and it was red at first, but he pushed it again and producers allowed them access. All three of them walk in and Natalie is back to giggling again. When Chelsia sees Josh sprinkling the water around, she busts out laughing. Natalie explains "We Blessed the water, I'm telling you." They are at the door from the storage room to the back stage area with both Natalie and Josh holding their Bibles up in the air praying at the door, asking God to not allow any evil into the house and take the evil out of the house. Natalie is laughing so hard she can barely speak. Josh prayed "Please let me be your warrior and get her OUT." Josh asked Chelsia about the German blessing and she explained that you take chalk and you write the blessing at the top of the door.

Josh tells Chelsia "I don't know what she's doing for votes girl, but I'm scared.. I heard there's some nasty _____ going down in your bed." Chelsia said "What?" Josh said "What was she doing in your bed?" Chelsia said "We were making out, why?" Natalie tells her that Shelia came out and told them. Josh said he saw it "In the TV camera and I was like argh." Chelsia laughed. They tell Chelsia she needs to be Blessed and "Stand there." She takes off running out of the storage room and they yell after her "Devil child." Chelsia laughs all the way down the hallway. As Josh and Chelsia leave the storage room, Josh says "Boat room. Boat room."

In the boat room, they sprinkle water all over the place because they all believe that bed is cursed and nobody will sleep in there anymore. Josh says "This is evil." They hold their Bibles over "The evil bed," and pray "Please dear God, get rid of all evil.

Natalie Blessed the Veto necklace and James got up to go to the bathroom in the nude and they Blessed him as he came out of the bathroom. Natalie goes into the kitchen to pour more water for them to pray over to use to finish Blessing the house. James and Chelsia join them in the kitchen and James is still naked.

They go outside and Bless the door from the outside, the yard and the hot tub. When they come back inside, Josh reads aloud from the book of Joshua.

Natalie claims the house to be safe.
