This is always a tragedy when there is a child involved.
It is turning into a tragic situation, with the ambulance coming and his wife allegedly moving out. The family is under great stress. However, his wife could have done some digging and possibly suspected that this was a risk. His past history was not seamless. Still, love is love and one hopes for the best before marriage. A pre-nup was a wise idea and will at least ease some of the financial stress (although there may still be tons of heartbreak and challenges ahead).
