Journeys

Comfort of Home

Deana Marshall (Baconator)
Lost in my journey
in this road of life,
scared and alone..
desperately seek home..
These roads are rocky,
I am so unsure..
with every footstep I take..
afraid to stumble or fall.
But with each day,
all is renewed..
taking yet another step on my journey..
refreshed.
Yesterday was a success,
still moving forward..
facing my fears and concerns..
but yet sometimes I still wish for
the comforts of home......

Written for a friend of mine who was going through some changes in her life and thought she was being a baby always wanting to return home. But like I told her, sometimes there is no place better then the comfort of your "home". Where do you find your comfort when the road is rough. Do you journey home from time to time for a refresher?

What a super pic of you and your son!!...adorable to say the least!...for me...i can't "go home" as it was for me because my birth family isn't here no more..but the famly i have made is my home...yet, I know they are expanding their wings..and one day...I may not have them nearby..but for your friend..enjoy that home as much as you can...there is nothing about being a baby about it...everyone wants to feel the love they know was there..and is there...you are a great friend to give her the right encouragement...great read!
