Joy Behar to Sharron Angle: "Go to Hell, Bitch" (Video)
Joy Behar, everybody's favorite left-wing liberal-loud mouth, let loose again on The View this morning. Shocking, yes, I know. It seems that comedienne Joy, who, for some reason, never seems to have a sense of humor these days, was upset with Sharron Angle, the Republican candidate and challenger in the state of Nevada, to house majority leader, Harry Reid.
Apparently, Sharron Angle has released a new political ad that, according to Joy Behar (and others on the show), is racist and bigoted, saying that it pits Latinos and other people of color against whites, painting them in a bad light.
In fact, it enraged Joy Behar so much that she called Sharron Angle a "bitch" and said that she should "go to hell." Because, that is the way to demonstrate tolerance to those with whom you disagree.
Okay, so now, look, I may be as white as the next Caucasian, and as such, maybe my whiteness tends to blind me to certain biases. I'll concede this fact. But, I looked at the ad and didn't really see what all the hoo-ha was about. Yes, it talks about illegal aliens and yes, it shows them as gang members and thugs. But, I'm not quite sure that it crosses over into bigoted, racist territory.
Mainly because, I don't how you talk about illegal immigration without talking about Mexicans crossing the border illegally and that many of them, unfortunately, commit crimes against Americans. I feel the same way about 9/11. Just, how do you talk about the terrorists without also talking about Muslims?
Yeah, I know, it can create a stereo-type in the minds of non-whites and non-Muslims and therefore create bigotry. I get that. But, I also think that most Americans, and certainly myself, realize that not every Latino is a criminal or a thug and that not every Muslim is a terrorist. But, then, that assumption is also based on the belief that most Americans are reasonable people who are not given much credit for being so. But, why don't you take a look for yourself and see what you think. ( See the ad here.)

Joyless Behar is a great example for all young girls who want to go into television. She is so refined and well spoken. What a lovely woman.

The ad was a disgusting use of the faces of innocent white children transposed with images of tattooed scary-looking Hispanics, who are probably legal U.S. citizens, to incite fear for political gains. Behar is trying so hard to make a name for herself. She wants to be the Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly or Shawn Hannity of the liberals, but they really don't care about her! She is just an idiot and no one listens to her. I don't know why they give her so much publicity. I would never watch the View as long as she is on!!! I bet Barbara Walters did not have her hateful attitude in mind when she created the show. Behar has no class!
Behar is entertainment, but I just can't believe that we have come to the point that we will elect anybody these days like Sharron Angle and really take her seriously...Reid is also a bad candidate but I would like a U.S. Senator to know a little something once their up on Capitol Hill, hell the established Republicans will have her for breakfast because she knows nothing!

I read the article and understand in which context this article arrived. I'm pointing out the words you used above trying to explain how you cannot seperate terrorist from thinking 9/11 muslims..I get that, but I'm talking about you saying unfortunatley many udocumented Mexicans commit crimes against Americans...Not true, merely pointing out that when you use these type of word you need to get facts straight about many of undocumented people not commiting crimes compared to the fewer bad apples...Not commenting on Joy Behar or the whack job regarding Sharron Angle.
Living in a border state, I see this every day. Whether you like it or not it is not racist, it is reality
