Jr Bacon Cheeseburger

Wendy's Jr Bacon Cheeseburger is a great deal for the price. At the Wendy's restaurant in Jackson, Michigan you get a small burger patty on a hamburger bun for only $0.99. What is really great is you also get a slice of tomato, a slice of cheese, a couple strips of bacon and a couple lettuce leaves. In addition you get onion and pickles, ketchup and mustard.

I ordered a Wendy's Jr Bacon Cheeseburger for lunch and was very satisfied. After a couple months of half-hour lunches it was nice to get away from the office for a bit. Although the Jr Bacon Cheeseburger is small, I found it just right to wave off hunger pains but not so filling I wanted to take a nap back at my desk.

Because of the blistery autumn wind that day I opted for the drive-thru window. At first I thought maybe I had made a mistake as there were at least 10 cars in line in front of me. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast the line moved though and barely had time to take a couple photographs of the trees next to the drive-thru lane - they were dressed in autumn colors.

The staff at the Wendy's restaurant near down-town Jackson was friendly and efficient which is often difficult to find at many fast food restaurants. My Jr Bacon Cheeseburger was handed to me through the window with a smile and my small bag even contained several paper napkins - something that is often forgotten at these places.

Wendy's does offer a wide range of choices for meals including several different salads, different types and flavorings of chicken, and of course different sizes of hamburgers. I think my next trip to Wendy's I'll splurge and try one of the salads - the pictures on the board at the drive-thru looked delicious. I will however in the future certainly be ordering more Jr Bacon Cheeseburgers.
