Judas Corey Feldman Dares Wear Jackson Attire to Staples Center Memorial
At Least Judas Kissed Jesus Before He Betrayed Him
Corey and Michael befriended each other in the 1980's when Corey was in his mid-teens. That friendship endured until 2001, when the 9/11 attacks drove a wedge between them. Apparently, Michael Jackson had gotten his entourage safely out of New York, but not Feldman. After this incident, Corey Feldman released a song, "Megalo Man," in which he ranted about Michael Jackson.
Corey had once been a valiant defender of Michael Jackson during Jordan Chandler's child molestation claims, but suddenly decided that in retrospect, Jackson had indeed behaved inappropriately with Corey. In 2003, Corey discussed Michael Jackson with Martin Bashir as part of the "Living with Michael Jackson" documentary. In the interview, Corey Feldman claimed that Jackson had shown him a book of nude pictures and described what the pictures meant. When asked if anything were wrong with his friendship with Michael Jackson, Feldman insinuated, "If you consider it inappropriate for a man to look at a book of naked pictures with a child that's 13 or 14 years old -- then your answer would be yes."
Corey Feldman explained that he'd seen the book on Michael Jackson's coffee table when he and Michael had stopped at Michael's house before heading to Disneyland. The book contained pictures of nude people with STD's. When Feldman took notice of the book, Michael Jackson sat down to explain to the teenager what the pictures in the book meant. "(Jackson) sat down with me and he explained it to me, showed me some different pictures and discussed what those meant," Feldman said in the interview. Taking the event purely as Feldman described, Michael Jackson probably shouldn't have taken it upon himself to explain the book to Corey Feldman, but he had no seedy intentions in doing so.
It probably wasn't the most prominent thing on Michael Jackson's mind to look at the book, if the two had only incidentally stopped by Michael's house before going to Disneyland; therefore, it doesn't seem like a sinister setup to get Corey to look at the book. Corey noticed the book. Jackson didn't intentionally lead him to it. The book had pictures of diseased genitals. I can't speculate why Michael Jackson owned this book, but I will guess that it's not a tool that a pedophile would use to entice a child into sex. In fact, Corey Feldman said he was grossed out by it, which was probably exactly what Jackson wanted him to be. Jackson probably sought to warn Feldman about the dangers of sex.
From the way Michael Jackson retold his childhood, it's easy to make the assumption that no one sat him down for a talk about the birds and the bees. He probably learned about it later than normal teens. Because Corey Feldman was a child star, too, Michael probably thought he was helping Feldman learn something that Jackson probably wished he'd known at Feldman's age. I doubt that Jackson would have thought anything of it, or said anything about the book, had Corey not noticed it on the coffee table.
Martin Bashir's Interview played a vital role in California's decision to go after Michael Jackson with molestation allegations. Michael Jackson endured a trial that seemed as if it would never end, with around 100 people bearing witness against him. In the end, not a single of the 10 charges stuck. However, Michael Jackson's spirit seemed to be irrevocably broken by the stress, the charges, and the ugly slander against him in the news.
Corey Feldman carries guilt with him for what he'd done to Michael Jackson, and probably deeply regrets that he was never able to heal the relationship with Jackson. In the summer of 2008, Feldman told a reporter that the only thing Jackson was guilty of was becoming bored with his teen-aged friends and dumping them. This turns out to be a bogus claim, too. Michael Jackson's friendship with Corey Feldman lasted 17 years.
It's another poignant example of how Michael Jackson kept his friends close, and his enemies closer-until he realized that his friends were really enemies, too. No amount of interviews, sad faces, Michael Jackson outfits, or sobbing will get Corey Feldman what he really wants: Michael Jackson's forgiveness.

LOL. Yeah right.
Thanks, Maria. I do hope so. Yeah, Corey Feldman made me really mad when I saw him, so I had to make myself feel a little better with this rant.
