Judgement Day is Nearly Here

This Sunday the destiny of Norwich City will be decided. There is no doubt Norwich have had a bad season, but they may have one last chance to save themselves. The only problem is the Canaries must rely on other results. Simply beating Charlton will not be enough, because they must also hope that Plymouth beat Barnsley.

However, it is by no means a certainty that Barnsley will survive. One of the reasons we all love football is the unpredictable nature of it. Sometimes funny things happen when you least expect them. The fact of the matter is great escapes do happen, and with all the bad luck this season maybe just maybe, Norwich will get one piece of good luck.

Only needing a point from a game can be a dangerous position to be in. Norwich found this out to their peril in the Premier League season. But let's not forget City must do their job by beating Charlton. Fortune follows the brave so Norwich must win the game in the most convincing way they can.

Bryan Gunn's final team selection of the season is unlikely to bring many surprises. Unfortunately it seems Lee Croft won't be fit to start, but I would still have him on the bench and hope we don't need him. Otherwise, it's good news with Shackell and Mooney both available for selection. Therefore, the big decision for Gunn will be choosing the striker to play up front with Alan Lee.
