'Juggalos' Attack Tila Tequila at Gathering of the Juggalos in Illinois

Tila Tequila is Attacked with Bottles, Rocks, and Human Waste

Kenzy England
MTV reality TV star Tila Tequila took to the stage in Cave-In-Rock, Illinois for the 2010 Gathering of the Juggalos (GOTJ) and was met with bottles, rocks, and human waste being flung at her by juggalos. Tila posted a message on her Twitter account, saying she would sue the festival organized for fans of hip-hop group Insane Clown Posse (ICP).

"Pretty soon the owners who run the Juggalos will be bankrupt," Tequila said on Twitter, "My attorney Alan is already on it. This is disgusting behavior from men."

According to CNN, a performer who witnessed the violence said, "She's pretty cut up." The witness asked not to be identified so he doesn't anger the 'juggalos'.

Who Are the Juggalos?

The term 'juggalos' (or 'juggalettes' for females) refers to fans of hip-hop group Insane Clown Posse and other Psychopathic Records hip-hop groups. They are known to wear clown makeup and have committed acts of violence, which Tila learned first hand. The states of Arizona and Utah have classified them as a gang.

ICP has its own definition of 'juggalo', which can be heard in their song 'What Is A Juggalo'. The lyrics are so profane and outrageous they cannot be included here.

When Tila Tequila took to the stage, a mob of hundreds of juggalos chased her and then surrounded the trailer she fled to. They began rocking the trailer and breaking out windows.

Tila Tequila Goes Topless at GOTJ, All Hell Breaks Loose:

A witness told CNN when Tila Tequila took her top off, "...they got really violent." The witness went on to say Tila was taunting the juggalos and, "She didn't know how to handle them. She didn't understand the dynamic.".

In a statement posted on JuggaloNews, Tila said, "I went onstage and immediately, before I even got on stage, DUDES were throwing HUGE STONE ROCKS in my face, beer bottles that slit my eye open, almost burnt my hair on fire cuz they threw fire crackers on stage, and they even took the s*** out of the port-o-potty and threw s*** and p**s at me when I was onstage."

Tila added "2 thousand" juggalos were trying to kill her and described her fear as she tried getting away from the angry mob. Inside the trailer, the three men who were with her pushed a table over to the broken windows and used chairs to "...hold people from outside back. It was scary as hell!"

Juggalos from around the country took to the JuggaloNews comment section under Tila's statement. Some say Tila just didn't know what she was getting herself into and blamed Tila for what happened, others commented the photos of Tila looked faked, as if she had gone to her motel room and applied makeup so that her injuries would look worse than they were.

Update: There have been no statements as of this writing made by Insane Clown Posse about the attack on Tila Tequila, nor have their been any apologies made to Tila by members of ICP.

Update, 2:17 pm: TMZ reports Hardin County Sheriff Tom Seiner said at the time of Tila Tequila's attack, deputies were on scene due to reports of a stabbing. Additionally, the sheriff called the event a "nightmare" and will be glad if it never returns. Sheriff Seiner stated he believes the location of this years Gathering of the Juggalos was chosen because the county doesn't require a permit (unlike most cities and counties across the country).

Perhaps Hardin County officials should rethink this and have some sort of ordinance in place before next years GOTJ.

And every one here needs to read Behind The Paint by Violent J. Of course they came from a broken up family. But at least they made something of themselves. Even if their music is not as holy as you want it to be. It means something to juggalos, just as your little bible means something to you. You're not insulting anyone, so they shouldn't be insulting you. Get over yourself. Not every juggalo is bad. They're still people. Not every person is good, they don't have to be a juggalo to be bad. Everyone just needs to read up on it. I read that book and it changed my outlook on them. I'm not even a juggalette. But still I respect them for what they went through and what they have made of themselves!

That's pretty bad what they did to her. Some people may not like her, but that's definitely no reason to behave that way!

They threw human waste? Needless to say, that's disgusting! I guess I don't understand what it's all about, but to become that angry is ridiculous.

    @ajw
I understand your concern and I'm sorry for all the trouble juggalos have caused in hardin county.

I just want to say I am a juggalo and I love the music psychopathic records produces. I also am in no way a thug, and would never beat a women. Any juggalo that I know personally can say the same thing for themselves. Juggalos that don't understand what psychopathic records is about are thugs and disrespectful punks most of the time, and sadly they also make it to the gathering of the juggalos.

All I want to do is apologize for the pieces of sh** you speak of and let you know that they are (or at least once were) the minority of juggalos.

Thanks for tolerating juggalos this long hardin county! :D Much clown love.

This hit a little too close to home for me, I don't really even know who ICP is and had never heard of the Gathering of the Juggalos before now. I looked on the website and it sounds like it could be a fun time and its close to where I live, added bonus! However this story is really bad press for the ICP cause, people in this part of the country don't take very kindly to thugs nor do they take very kindly to men beating up on women. In my opinion you are all a bunch of spineless pieces of sh** who need to stay in your own part of the country and leave the good people of Southern Illinois alone. I hope Tila Tequila gets your little event shut down because the people of Hardin County don't deserve this kind of nonsense in their around their children.

why the hell was she even at GOTJ? This makes no sense.

Can't stand that dumb insecure attention seeking Tila Tequila. She is soo damn annoying, nvertheless she didn't deserve to get beat up. Just goes to show how messed up the world is now. First time i heard about these Jugalo crowd, I bet most of these people come from broken homes and couldn't fit in with other people so decided to come up with this 'group'. What happened with being an individual?

Great write up on an absolutely insane and disgusting act. I may not be a fan of Tila Tequila, but there is no excuse for this kind of nasty, violent behavior. And in my opinion, people thinking she "deserved it" is about as ridiculous and wrong as what the crowd did. No one deserves that. And you're absolutely right about the local authorities and officials needing to get some real decisions made before next year.

congrats on being #2 on google news! holla to the juggalos! (=
