When I got serious about getting healthy, juicing really helped with my weight loss. Vegetables are great to juice because you can mix them with fruit to camouflage the taste. My favorite vegetable to juice are carrots. They are rich in vitamin A and beta-carotene, which helps prevent cancer. Here is my favorite juicing recipe using carrots:
Carrot-Apple-Ginger Juice
4 carrots
2 apples
Small piece of ginger
1. Add all ingredients into your juicer according to the manufacturer's instructions.
(I like to add them is this order: carrots, apples, then ginger)
2. Drink immediately.
Tip: you can save the pulp and make muffins, cookies, or bread.
