Juicing: Vegetable Juice Recipes for Your Health

After having a bunch of vegetables left over from a company Christmas party, I discovered the power of juicing for your health. The immediate effect of juicing was felt by an increase in energy level. The benefit of vegetable juice on your health is astounding.

Carrots have an abundance of Vitamin A, which helps fight dry and damaged skin, nails and hair. Why take supplements when you can drink vegetable juice to improve your health. Vitamin A also effects liver cleansing, eyesight and is advantageous for prenatal health. A juicer is not necessary to reap the rewards of these vegetable juicing recipes.

Ranee's Vegetable Juice Recipe: I concocted this juice recipe using left over vegetables and juices. Most prefer to sift out the chunks (I don't have a juicer, used blender) but I drank it with the chunky veggies. The effects on my energy level were felt immediately.

Blend:

1 bag of baby carrots (preferably organic)

½ stalk broccoli (folic acid helps fight cancers)

2 stalks celery

Cranberry and/or apple juice and water to desired smoothness and flavor.

Sift thru coffee filter if you want to remove chunks and don't have a juicer.

For spice lovers and even more health benefits, add cayenne pepper.

Vegetable Juice Recipe - the Body Purifier

Blend:

4 large carrots, peeled

½ cucumber, peeled

1 beet

*Optional: add juice for sweetness.

Sift thru coffee filter if you want to remove chunks and don't have a juicer.

For spice lovers and even more health benefits, add cayenne pepper.

Irritatable Bowel Vegetable Juicing Recipe

Blend:

1 bag of baby carrots

Handful of spinach lettuce

Add juice for a sweeter flavor.
