Julianne Hough and Chuck Wicks have called it quits. Although they attended the Country Music Awards as dates, they have confirmed that they are no longer an item. Yet Julianne Hough and Chuck Wicks remain on good terms.

There does not seem to be any animosity between the former Dancing sweethearts. According to sources such as Show Biz Spy, busy schedules and careers did not allow them to spend as much time together as they would have liked.

As Julianne Hough explained, "We're both just really, really busy with our careers, and we spend a lot of time apart from each other - so we're just taking a little break right now." Yet she maintains that she and Chuck Wicks are still good friends and that they continue to write music together.

Being a country music fan and a Dancing With the Stars viewer, it's a bit sad to hear about the break-up of Julianne Hough and Chuck Wicks. Still, at least they have remained on good terms, a rare feat in the world of break-ups.

She had gone through a somewhat unceremonious break-up with dance partner Mario Lopez before moving onto and eventually becoming engaged to Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Yet this match did not survive either as they had different goals about what they wanted for the longterm.
