Julie Schenecker Shoots Son, Daughter in the Head for 'Talking Back'

Julie Schenecker, the wife of a US Army colonel from Tampa who apparently killed her teenage kids Thursday for being "mouthy", has been hospitalized for an "unknown condition". People Magazine is reporting Julie Schenecker, wife of Col. Parker Schenecker, shot her teen son, Beau, 13, "twice in the head" during a routine commute to sports practice this week because he was "talking back".

Julie Schenecker then allegedly drove home and shot her 16 year-old daughter, Calyx Schenecker, at point-blank range in the face. The young high-school athlete was reportedly studying on the family computer when her mother Julie allegedly walked into the suburban Florida home and fired the same .38 calibur pistol that killed her brother, killing Calyx where she sat. Pollice found Julie Schenecker covered in blood and unconcious on her back porch the next morning and made the gruesome discovery of Calyx's body in a bed upstairs, and Beau's body still in the cra.

The children's father, Col. Schenecker, is currently on deployment in the Middle East. Our deepest condolences and most heartfelt sympathies are with Col. Schenecker and the entire Schenecker extended family at thisshocking, disturbing and heart-wrenching time.

What Does Julie Schenecker's Facebook Page Reveal?

Besides 'liking' pages such as The Cheesecake Factory and Breast Cancer Awareness on Facebook, Julie Schenecker also ironically 'liked' a page called "Click 'like' if you love your son!". She also expressed seemingly normal, heartfelt condolences for the passing of a loved one on a friend's page in a December 2010 FB post where she wrote, " condolences from all the schenecker's. love ya, girl."

The Facebook page of Julie Schenecker gives us a small glimpse into the clearly-deranged mother-of-two's online life and beyond. Julie Schenecker lists herself as having attended Muscatine High School, graduating in 1978 and going on to earn a B.A. in Physical Education at University of Northern Iowa. She claimed to love her kids.
