Celebrate Freedom with Free Admission!

July 4, 2011 is coming! Do you know where to find a great location to view the Fourth of July fireworks? Perhaps one of these Independence Day celebrations can assist.

New York, New York! Macy's July 4th on the Hudson will return for 2011. Six barges, 40,000 fireworks, patriotic music, two miles along the Hudson for the duration of twenty-five minutes. The Hudson will offer an excellent Independence Day New York style in the future. According to New Yorkology Macy's fireworks may move to the East River, the "rightful" location (since 1976). From ticket sales to special deals, NBC's live coverage and the media buzz, the Hudson in New York will be a northern hot spot on July 4th.

A Capitol Fourth in Washington, D.C. on the West Lawn is an annual bonanza of American patriotism. Broadcast usually supplied by PBS and NPR (National Public Radio). During the concert the National Artistic Achievement Award is presented to a lucky star. In 2010 Reba McEntire won. Who will score an award in 2011? Only one way to find out! The concert is followed by an array of fireworks and a splash of freedom. A Capitol Fourth is a free concert.

The heart of Carolina has their annual July 4th event to view fireworks at free admission, free parking, bathroom access, kid games, picnic areas, and many activities. N.C. State Fairgrounds offers a dazzling display of fireworks. N.C. State Fairgrounds is located in Raleigh along Blue Ridge Road. The best thing about these high tech fireworks is that a resident or visitor can view them without even walking onto the event grounds. So, park the family car and enjoy the fireworks!

Add July 4th to America's free sky observatory (Florida) and watch a brilliant sparkling display. But there is only one problem. Central Florida stands by the fireworks ban. Most who live there agree that sparking another out of control fire is the last thing they need. Contact Florida's local authorities and simply ask of fireworks celebrations and if the show will still go on. Fingers crossed for central Florida.

It is not all about the east side! Let's go westward.

Who has the largest boots in Texas? Longview! And a long view it will be as Texans can enjoy the largest fireworks display in their state at The Freedom Celebration and Fireworks Festival. The Maude Cobb Convention and Activity Complex centers this Fourth of July event. On July 4th the cowboy hats are risen across Texas, and at Longview, in honor of America. For more visit the City of Longview press release.

Los Angeles in California is holding their annual fireworks display at the Rose Bowl - for a fee. But according to About.com some kids are free. Those under seven years of age. Military ID gets you in for free. How can you celebrate freedom by paying a $13 per head price? Was it not the price paid by relatives that led to the celebration? And at $20 a car? Go Los Angeles!

Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco is quite an appealing location to spend July 4th. Fisherman's Wharf begins at 1 in the afternoon. Fisherman's Wharf has been dubbed the largest west coast fireworks display. Throughout the afternoon America's birthday is celebrated by locals and out-of-town visitors as the night is topped off with fireworks viewed from Pier 39. Park far. The key to wise parking is to park closer to the exit. Know when to start walking to the car at the end of the fireworks display and be one of the first to exit. The flip side is to become one of the hundreds of cars blocked in.

Prepare for July 4, 2011 early and enjoy America's 235th birthday!
