Centennial Olympic Park Fourth of July Celebration
Centennial Olympic Park is one of Atlanta's most amazing public parks and facilities. Head downtown July 4, 2010 to experience the Airtran Airways Fireworks Spectacular at the park.

The Centennial Olympic Park Fourth of July Celebration features children's activities from noon to 4pm. Kids can enjoy arts and crafts, face painting, inflatables and so much more. Of course, Atlanta's notable Fountain of Rings offer a place for kids of all ages to cool off from the summer heat.

The entire family will have a chance to meet the local Atlanta Q100 radio personalities throughout the day.

At 5pm relax and enjoy the smooth rhythms of the 911 band. 911 is a young R & B cover band full of energy and contagious enthusiasm. At 6:30 the music turns country and pop with Eden's Edge. 8pm brings 80s hits with the Smithereens.

After dark, enjoy the Airtran Airways Fireworks Spectacular. The fireworks show will be broadcast on 11 Alive - WXIA TV. Q100 will be broadcasting live via radio from Centennial Olympic Park all day.

Thousands of Atlantans will converge on the city for this event. Come join the fun, and for your convenience take MARTA.

This event is free, and there is something for everyone in the family.

Georgia Independence Day Festival and Fireworks, July 3-4, 2010
Experience an Independence Day reminiscent of the festivities following the victory for independence enjoyed by our Founding Fathers at Nash Farm Park in Henry County, Georgia.

It is a short trip from Atlanta to Hampton, Georgia for this fantastic July 4 celebration. Enjoy early American re-enactments, music, and dancing. There will also be plenty of food and carnival activities for the kids.

An Independence Day Wagon Parade will be followed by a military parade honoring the men and women who have served and those who continue to serve our country, defending our freedom.

Just before dark enjoy more music, and at dark the fireworks extravaganza will begin. The fireworks display will be followed by a concert on both nights of the festival.
