During this year of economic strife, a celebration of our glorious independence may be just what Americans need to develop a hopeful outlook for the future. As citizens of this great country, we should remember those who embraced their destinies and laid the first bricks of the foundation that would become The United States of America. The following is a list of a few July 4th celebrations around Texas.

    Bobbi,
The word is that the fireworks show in The Woodlands is second only to that of Houston. Depending on where you live, getting in and out of the area is also much easier at The Woodlands. http://woodlandsevents.com/entertainment/2008-fireworks-in-the-woodlands/july-4-2008-parade--fireworks.html

Thanks for this fabulous information! Now I can't decide if we should go to Houston or the Woodlands for the fireworks. :-)
