Fourth of July Wawa Welcome America! Festival
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Eleven days of fun in the city of Philadelphia. There will be a Hoagie day, movie preview day, art exhibit day, ceremonies, picnics, block parties and more. Then, on July 4th, enjoy the big finale on Benjamin Franklin Parkway - 20th and Eakins Oval. Music group "The Roots" headline this festival and join Earth Wind and Fire, DJ Jazzy Jeff and other fantastic acts. A tribute this year to the 40th anniversary of Philadelphia International Records. After the music, enjoy the fireworks.

Grant Park Music Festival
Chicago, Illinois
This is the first concert played on July 4th, Independence day. Music begins at 1:30pm, and enjoy a picnic beforehand. At the Jay Pritzker Pavilion. The music festivals are usually in the Millennium center, and there will be activity all day there.

New York 4th of July Dinner Cruise
New York, New York
A spectacular 4 hour ride with a gourmet dinner, a perfect view of the fireworks display and the George Washington Bridge, open bar, dancing and more. A fun, fancy way to spend 4th of July.
Doors open at 5:30 pm at 41st Street Marina. Boat departs promptly at 7pm. $350 per person - check for special rates and kids rates.
Centennial Olympic Park July 4th Celebration
Atlanta, Georgia
Largest fireworks show in the Southeast, this venue is the place to be. With live music and entertainment, this is a popular spot to be with a lot of fun festivities.
The fun starts at 4:30 pm. The fireworks display starts at 9:30pm.
Sea World July 4th Fireworks Celebration
San Diego, CA
Spend the day at SeaWorld, seeing all the beautiful animals and fish, and then end the day with the fantastic fireworks display at Sea World, called "Into the Blue." A fun day for kids, families, adults and anyone who loves to have fun.
Fireworks begin at 9:30 pm.
Bellevue Family 4th
Seattle, WA
Entertainment for kids, local booths, vendors for food and much more. Located at Bellevue Downtown Park. Enjoy the "really nice" fireworks display at the end of the day.
Festivities begin at 4:30pm. Fireworks begin at 10:00pm.

I love the Sea World fireworks. =)
Pittsburgh offers quite a display, but first we always have a bbq, and later after the show we light our own.
These sound fun, but we always just have a little get-together in the backyard with family.
Julie sounds like great activities for the 4th.
Nice job. I usually stay at home on the holidays because of the crazy drivers out here. For me to go anywhere, I have to drive the major highways so I have a party at home and invite the neighbors.
