Jump for Joy, and a Whole Lot More!

For all kids who love to run and play, jumping is no secret ability. I have found my two year old son loves to jump all on his own. When I took to him a special center just for jumping fun, he took off running and laughing. Just recently, within the month of November in 2009, we visited a popular and unique site called Bounce for U. Located in Henderson, NV at 1000 Stephanie Place suite 16, this giant area style of indoor bouncers draws it's attraction to the focus of all ages of the family.

As we entered the area, a small shoe check in cubby was customary to go and bounce. My son found his favorite was the basket ball hoops bouncer. As seen in the picture, he is hopping around with the staff and climbing every where. Each bouncing inflatable has it's own theme and activity. Including a boxing ring, obstacle course, basket ball free throw, basket ball court with built in baskets, and many various sizes of slides. The open bounce times are available to the public. Other special events at the center feature a preschool play date, family bounce night, and hosted birthday parties. Leaving may not be as easy for a toddler as it seems, but I can say we will enjoy returning again.

According to an article written by Jim Futrell at iaapa.org, these bounce centers started after the downfall of similar chain indoor auditorium type play areas closed in 2000. The founder and president of Bounce for U, Brent Schmick, began in 2004. At first, this chain opened 40 locations in 18 states, and an additional 100 or more franchise owners. Having a son diagnosed with several palsy encouraged him and wife Carrol to initiate a business that brought physical exercise, focused to ease muscle stimulation to urban neighborhoods. I believe this environment is beneficial for each individual young and old to find a renewed sense of imagination.

Bounce for U is a one of a kind exciting adventure that can be afforded on a budget. Only around a thousand play centers with inflatable play grounds exist in the United States. One might remember the old McDonalds play sites from the eighties, or an amusement at a carnival, but this lace stays open all year long. This center offers large spaces for parties, and a gift shop to take home memories.
