Junction City, Kansas 4th of July Celebration Correction

Independence Day Celebrations Next to Historic Fort Riley, Kansas

Teresa Mahieu
This is an update/correction to my article titled "Fourth of July Celebration in Junction City, Kansas".

As reported by the Junction City Daily Union on 6-26-2008 there has been a correction to the cost of Carnival Wristbands. The Carnival is in town and workers have been and still are busy setting up the fun rides for the Sundown Salute Activities to begin on 6-27, 2008. Lewellen's Amusements (name spelling correction) Carnival Ticket prices are NOT as listed in my article published 5-28-2008. Following are the correct prices and dates accepted:

Carnival Wristbands are $25.00 and valid June 27th-July 3rd, 6-10PM ONLY. Carnival Wristbands are available to Military Personnel for $18.00 on July 2nd and 3rdonly, with a valid military ID.

For more details see the Sundown Salute Website at http://www.sundownsalute.org
