Jungle Jack's landing at Columbus zoo,and aquarium theme amusement park, along with several rides, including the sea dragon roller coasters. Zoombezi Bay is the seasonal water park. The operating season began on Memorial Day 2009, and will end on Labor Day 2009.
In June 2006, six Flags announced the sale of Wyandot Lake to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium for $12 million dollars. The sale closed at the end of October 2006. In 2008, the Water Park, and Amusement Park reopened it's doors with a new name, Jungle Jack's Landing. General admission for adults is $29.99. Children's ages 2 through 9, $24.99. Seniors ages 60, and older, admission is same as Children's, $24.99. If you prefer a season pass, you can purchase it for $79.99. Operating hours from Sunday through Monday week is, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.
Jungle Jack Landing is a pay-per ride style amusement park, attached to, and owned by the Columbus Zoo, and Aquarium, located just off of River Drive in Columbus, Ohio.The park was named after Jack Hanna. Opening on May 26, 2008. The park has 14 rides total.
Glade with the big surfs, at the wild tidal wave pool, roaring Rapids Action River, with nine special features. Over 570,000 gallons of water roar, 1,500 feet long, and 32 inches deep, with an average of 17 feet wide. Experience the Dolphins Dash, the only heads-first water slide in Ohio. This slide has a head-first tower, mat racing, high speed attraction. Up to six person's can compete in a race. Don't forget to stop by Jungle Jack's Cocktail Creek, a lazy river for those 21 years of age and over. The lazy river contains 203,000 gallons of water, it stretches 850 feet's in length, feet. And under 32 inches deep.
Zoombezi bay water park is a brand new 22.7 arce park, located right next to the Columbus Zoo, and Aquarium. The water park has 2 water slides complexes, a wave poop, an Action River, a Lazy River, a private Cabanas, and a Kiddie play Pool. Zoombezi Bay is part of the entire 580 arce, Columbus Zoo, and Aquarium complex, that includes an expanding Zoo, Golf Cub, and Water Park.
