When searching for the perfect graduation invitations to send out it is important to incorporate the graduation theme. You have several options when choosing graduation invitations as well. You can either visit a store to order the invitations, order the invitations on-line or make them yourself. If you are stretched for time or no the most creative person in the world, ordering the graduation invitations is the way to go. Once you begin your search for the perfect graduation invitation you may find yourself overwhelmed with wording and style choices. This is the point where incorporating the talents and likes of your graduate will come in handy.
I suggest personalizing the graduation invitations. This is a special day in your graduate's life so having their name on the invitation is important. You can pre-purchase invitations with appropriate wording and spaces to insert the graduate's name and directions to the party. Unless you have superior handwriting skills, this type of invitation can appear cheap and tacky. By spending a few cents more per invitation you can have the graduate's name and party directions printed on each invitation.
A popular Junior High graduation invitation looks as follows:
(Names of the graduating parents) Ex. Mary and Joe Smith
Would like to announce the graduation of
(Name of the Graduate) Ex. Alice Lindsey Smith
On (Date) Ex. May 11, 2008
From (Name of Junior High School) Ex. Blue Creek Junior High School
Reception will follow ceremonies at
(Time) 2:30 pm
(Address) Ex. 123 Fairview Lane, Raleigh NC 25893
Regrets Only (Phone Number) Ex. 1-919-690-3587
You can choose a simpler graduation invitation if you prefer a cheaper wording choice. It is extremely important to make sure you have the graduate's entire name and date. Graduation invitations are important keepsakes to many people. By including entire names and dates graduation invitations are perfect for albums or scrapbooks.
Once you decide on the graduation invitation, getting ready for the graduation party is the next step. You can choose a simple affair or you can go all out with a meal and everything if you prefer. Keeping with a simpler theme, you may consider having a cake that says HAPPY GRADUATION and the graduate's name. Also have some sort of punch, chips and dip and maybe even some ice cream. That would be plenty for a simple graduation party. This also allows you to keep the budget affordable.
Whatever you decide, have fun! Enjoy your graduate's graduation party!

Post a CommentI'm graduating this week!! :) thanks for the help!
So timely. We have one this week!
;-)
Formal invitations are great, but I think zany ones really stand out and are much more fun and memorable...the invitations I most often hear talked about are ones with...drumroll please...misspellings, parents names left out (divorced, separated, or really just "forgot" - and yes it does happen!) or something else unusual about them. Dare to be different!
