First, there is the location. Juno Beach is located right on the sparkling Atlantic Ocean in the northern end of Palm Beach County. Although the area has built up quite a bit over the past few years, it still possesses an unspoiled quality that you will not find in other more developed areas of the county. The scenery is absolutely beautiful in Juno Beach. As you walk or drive along the streets, the tropical landscape will captivate you and make you feel as if you are in a paradise.
The beach in Juno consists of miles of sandy coastline with plenty of parking right along the ocean so that beach goers will not have to hike in the hot Florida sun. You simply get out of your car and you're right there! Dogs are also allowed on Juno Beach so feel free to bring your four-legged family members--just make sure to keep them on a leash.
There are many restaurants located in the Juno Beach area. Across from the beach on US1 are several great places for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Hurricane Café is one of my favorites. They have a delicious falafel wrap during lunch. The Juno Beach Café is also a nice spot. Diners can sit outside and enjoy the year round warm weather while enjoying their meal. The Juno Beach Fish House is a good choice for dinner if you and your party are interested in some fresh catch.
Finding a place to stay in Juno Beach is not a problem either as there are several hotels in the vicinity that offer top notch accommodations. My favorite hotel in Juno Beach is the Holiday Inn Express. The hotel is across the street from the beach, accepts pets, and the rooms are very nice. The rates at the hotels in Juno Beach vary depending upon the time of the year. Summertime is the off season so the rates are usually cheaper, but you can expect to pay a lot more in the winter when the tourists flock to the area.
Other than the beach and dining, Juno Beach is filled with great places to shop. There are antique stores, gift shops, surf stores--the list goes on and on. Juno Beach is also home to several art festivals during the year. Also, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center is located in Juno Beach. The Center is an excellent place to visit to learn more about the Loggerhead turtles that nest in the area. The Center features a museum and a gift shop.
Juno Beach, Florida, is a wonderful place to visit. If you are planning a trip to Florida, I recommend visiting the area. Juno Beach is charming town with plenty to see and do!
