Juno - Movie Review

Juno starring Ellen Page can be described with one word: wonderful. Witty, intelligent, humorous, heartfelt, brilliant are a few other words that appropriately describe this movie packed with interesting performances.

If you don't know who Ellen Page is I am sure we will all know more about her soon. Ellen Page recently starred in Hard Candy and between the two performances it is hard to determine if Ellen Page has a sharp personality or just picks great stories and characters to play.

Juno revolves around Ellen Page's character whom chooses to lose her virginity with her best friend only to end up pregnant. The entire story is about her coming to grips with having the child, figuring out her relationship with her best friend, and whether or not to give the child to a couple who desperately wants a child but can not have one of their own.

Juno involves her parents in the process whom turn out to be he kind of parents everyone wants, supportive and helpful.

Ellen Page absolutely understands her part as Juno and brings a dry dead pan humor to the character which adds so much to the story as she easily moves between mature and immature behavior throughout the movie.

I highly recommend you watch Juno starring Ellen Page as it has a broad appeal and brings a new perspective to teen pregnancy.
