Just 3 Times Minimum Wage?

We Want 4

LarrWayne Po
A poem is just a poem. Yet it is a fact some unions do reach too far into the pockets of employers. To deny this would be closing our eyes to a reality of life.

We Want 4

We are going to get you
3 times minimum wage.

We want more.
We want 4.
We want more.
We want 4.
Okay. Okay.
Pay your dues
And we will work on it
For you.

Did you get the notion
We are just common folks?
We are high strung;
Let it be told,
We are well deserving
Privileged better thans.
The poor boys and girls
Are down the road.

We want special cars
And trucks too.
We want a lot
For our union dues.
It's a hard job
Teaching school.

Would you like to buy a shovel
And dig a ditch?

Hey, you switched the subject.
Out in the weather
Is someone else 's job.
It's bad enough
Just having to grab hold
And twist a cold door knob.

LarrWayne, AKA Quack Jack of many trades. If the educated do not educate others, the long term pay back will be "We are surrounded by the uneducated and they want to rule over us". Politically incorrect poem...  View profile

Those that work hard don't get the bucks and many that do get the bucks don't deserve them.
