Just Adding Another Service to My Resume

When I first started out seriously thinking about giving freelance writing a go fulltime, I was worried what would happen to me and my most of the time fanciful Ideas. As we all are aware of actually getting any kind of Business of the Ground is one scary adventure. If you don't have a lot of ready to use financial backing and savings, this can become more then just a bit daunting. I have published several Articles on Dating, Relationships, Love, Family and more. Each is full of down to earth and straightforward advice that has nothing to do with fanciful notions. You can read several of my Articles right here at this fine Site. Others of my Topic include health and law related issues that are from time to time a bit harder to swallow. Reviews from Restaurants to Stores I found throughout are also part of my Portfolio. Make sure to become one of my regular subscribers so you don't miss a new edition.

So building up a good readership as well as a great portfolio is very important. Both will give you the ability to showcase not only that you are reliable, fast thinking and versatile, but give you the calling card you need to attract projects, gigs and the like. Already published Articles make great Samples, that is why you want them to be not only versatile, but also showing that you are able to perform critical thinking at times.

One of the greatest comments I personally think which shows this came on my recent Article about the laptops for kids in the 3^rd World Countries. The Reader mentioned that she found the Article to be informative, but that I seemed skeptical. She pinpointed it exactly. Yes, that is how it was meant.

If you read the Article very carefully, I wanted to make certain that you got all the information available to me at that point, but I also wanted to bring across that I personally found the whole Idea a bit questionable. She may not have agreed with me, but she never the less validated that I had made a point. Again, Readership is not about always believing you to be correct, more often then not they won't, especially when you touch on subjects like witchcraft, paganism, BDSM, politics and all others that may poke at their own personal opinion. Regardless, Readers and a good Portfolio are one of the most important things in getting you a good Client Base. Hopefully, they will give you the Word of Mouth Advertisement, required for your Client scouting success.

What happens when you have those quality Readers, Articles and Clients? Well, now you need to branch out a bit. Add another Service to your list of things you are able to do. I have been an online Expert in the past, but due to time constrictions let his part drop.
Since I have gone fulltime as of last Week, the time is there again, while I sit, research etc. I need to be available to people at all times.

Part of my writing here, actually a very big part, is counseling. I give advice about those above mentioned subjects, but I also bring my other Topics of interest in. I have just recently started to offer topics up to the Readership here, which are still pending for editorial approval. I am curious if those will be rejected for being to common knowledge or will find an honored place among many others.
