Just Another Day..

Brendan W Vittum
Just another day...

Out there, Spring's
sun shines
and a world smiles,
dances in Rebirth's
joy.

In here The Fool
does not smile, does not
dance - in here no sun
shines.

Out there
they rejoice - but in here?

In here - human,
the in-human robot
would forever
strike May twenty-eight
from Memory
and Calendar.
