Finding a bargain on clothes, toys and baby equipment just got easier, and a whole lot more fun. Say goodbye to the hassles of EBay, resale shops, and garage sales. Welcome to Just Between Friends of St. Charles, Missouri.

Just Between Friends (JBF) franchises offer the best way to get bargain prices on children's clothing, toys, books and baby equipment. In fact, each Just Between Friends semi annual sale offers enormous selection and top quality new and gently used items for spring and summer or fall and winter.

JBF sales events are held in heavily populated areas and the St. Charles sale will last four days. These consignment events are held for the sole purpose of reselling gently-used children's, teens' and maternity clothing, toys and baby equipment.

Missouri-born native, Michelle Wiginton, recently purchased the St Charles, MO franchise of the nation's largest, twice-yearly children's and maternity consignment sales event. The Just Between Friends Corporate Headquarters is in Tulsa, Oklahoma and is quickly becoming a family tradition for tens of thousands of individuals across the United States . In fact, Wiginton also purchased the Columbia /Jefferson City/ Lake of the Ozarks, MO JBF franchise and joins the other Missouri JBFs in Springfield , Lee's Summit , Independence and North Kansas City . Just Between Friends currently has 52 franchises in 14 states across the country.

JBF-St Charles' Spring/Summer Sale will take place March 21-24, 2007 and will be held at the New Hope Presbyterian All-Purpose Room, 1580 Kisker Road, St. Charles, MO 63304. Admission is $2.00 and parking is free.

Twice a year, usually Spring and Autumn, consignors bring their gently used children's items to a central location in town. Clothing arrives freshly laundered, hung on hangers and tagged. Toys and other items are cleaned before drop off and are ready for sale. All items are inspected for quality, and safety. Volunteers help get all the sale items sorted and displayed the day before the sale and get to shop before the doors open to the public.

JBF appeals to both single moms with small budgets, stay-at-home moms looking to stretch the family dollars and well-to-do moms who shop smart to keep their children well dressed. These events appeal to the first-time mom, who needs everything, mothers of multiples (who need several of everything), and moms of second, third and even more children, who are looking for larger sizes, replacement items, and new items that make mothering easier, safer and more enjoyable. All shoppers who come to a JBF sales event, whether they are looking for specific items or sizes, find a wide range of brands, styles and unique items that are not available at any other sales event. Brands like Gymboree, Baby Gap, Carters, OshKosh B'Gosh and Peaches-n-Cream are not sold in stores together, which allows JBF to offer the convenience of shopping in one place for dozens of hard-to-find and high-demand boutique and other exclusive name brand garments. In addition, many shoppers find such good prices they purchase items that they were not shopping for, but could afford when getting such good deals on the other items they were purchasing.

Many of the shoppers at the local semi annual sales are also consigners, (about 65%, according to a 2006 survey conducted by E-Merge Interactive Media), while overall JBF sees approximately 90% moms as shoppers and 10% grandmothers, aunts and other family members. Of the respondents to JBF's recent survey, there were slightly more girls than boys reported in the homes of shoppers, although the number of boys (1.25) and girls (1.26) living in the homes of these shoppers was almost identical.

It is common to be able to make a profit while shopping for your own family. Consignors set their own prices and receive checks two weeks after the sale for 70% of their sales. There are also a small number of shoppers who purchase items for baby showers, as well as a few professional consignors who may or may not have children, but make anywhere from $5,000 to $10,000+ consigning in each sale.

Just Between Friends accepts cash, checks, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover. There are currently 34 sales scheduled across the country this Spring. Be sure to check the website www.JBFsales.com for locations and sales dates. Enjoy the spring sales event and then sign up to consign and start getting next season's hand me downs ready for the Fall Just Between Friends sale in your area. Franchises are also available throughout the country. Franchise information can be found on the Just Between friends website.

Wow, I bet the franchise owners make a lot of money on these! They charge $2 per person, they use volunteers so they don't pay employees, and they keep 30% of all sales! I won't be supporting these events!
