Just Pray

The day goes by

And everything slows

It is he that speeds my day.

Too bad I can't focus

My grades could be better

But they aren't.

And, that's the price I pay.

The only thing to do is pray.

Pray that everything goes our way.

He struggles, I struggle

So, we try to get advice

But, it's easier said than done.

We will have to wait and see.

I'm hoping that one day will come

The day I get to spend my life with my love.

Slowly but surely

God will bring him to me.
