See the gap in the wall
Look past the swinging door
See the eyes I've dreamt of seeing
And I am stopped
And thinking to seek you out
I move to trace your steps
Watching you glide
Your way to new doorways
Into new corridors
Turning, pivoting
On your heels
Oblivious
Smiling carelessly you've no idea
The havoc you wreak on my being
Pulling me up
Breaking me down
I am leveled
Noticing the way your hair glistens
Beneath the lights of this living room
Finding myself intrigued by the
Suppleness of your lips
Discovering the pressure I feel to find a way to meet them to my own lips
I find myself encouraged to approach you
To speak to you
To take you in
Remain in awe of you
You majestic thing
