Justin Bieber Arrested: CSI Episode Showcases Singer as Bad Boy Jason McCann

Justin Bieber has been arrested several times, if you listen to the Twitter rumors (which are false by the way). However, there could be a grain of truth embedded in the silliness started on the social networking site. Justin Bieber is going to be featured on CSI as Jason McCann, a very troubled teen.

MTV quotes E!, who spoke with CSI producers. They said the following of the Justin Bieber episode: [Bieber plays a] "troubled teen who is faced with a terrible decision regarding his only brother - a decision that leads him into an explosive confrontation with the CSIs. It is the beginning of an emotional story that will conclude later in the season."

Of course, this is going to be great for the ratings of the show. A younger audience that likely wouldn't normally tune in to the show will, just to see their heart throb. He's become a cultural icon, and is extremely popular with the teenage crowd.

I've read several blog posts and articles about Justin Bieber and each and every time, there is at least one comment indicating that someone is "in love" with him.

CSI producers are excited about mixing the teen icon with their show, stating that "Every 20 years, a phenomenon like Justin Bieber graces our world. We'd like to believe that the phenomenon of CSI has had the same impact on popular culture. The opportunity to bring them together in the premiere is a great treat for our audience and all of its new viewers. This will be true event television."

The 16 year old singer got his start on YouTube, and skyrocketed into a best-selling musician. Now, he's on one of the best network TV shows around.

He follows in the footsteps of Taylor Swift, who had a brief appearance on the show as well. CSI does a good job of bringing in some pretty interesting guest stars for their appearances.

The episode airs on September 23, 2010. It's sure to be a big hit.
